Mullet's Appliances

I purchased several appliances From Mullet's Naples location on the recommendation from my contractor remodeling our kitchen. The appliance in question and the service or lack there of is in regards to a Zephyr dual zone wine cooler. The wine cooler failed out of the box. Never worked. Mullet's and Zephyr said they do not replace failed product but repair them. Not happy since it was brand new, but OK. A week later the cooler was picked up and trucked up to Mullet's in Sarasota FL where it took over a month to repair and return the unit. Upon it's return the wine cooler case was scratched and dented, the door was sagging and looked anything but new, the installers recommend I take pictures of the damage. After all this the installers were not able to level the unit. My sales rep was / is of no use, just passed the buck and said Zephyr would not replace the unit and the damage, according the Mullet's service manage, to the sides and top of the unit were caused by inserting the cooler in a tight space -- not so. At this point I am just trying to get the product's warranty extended, but ones again Mullet's has not provided any assistance, and indicated I would have to deal Zephyr directly. So that is my complaint, you can determine how you would feel. For me, I will not purchase products for Mullet's Appliances or purchase a Zephyr Products. The true test of a company is how they service their customers.

I was promised after having a very bad experience with Mullets that if I bought from them again my new salesman assured me he would stand behind everything. I have a new refrigerator ( less than 3 years old) that has required 3 major visits. The tech from mullets charged over 100 dollars..since then I have a contract with a very reliable company and they have been here twice. The freezer stops working and I have lost hundreds of dollars in food and my wood floor in the kitchen has to be replaced..I have called and called and never get a call back. I was hoping that they would stand behind this lemon and give me a new fridge. Yesterday I bit the bullet and ordered a new one because I need the reliability. When the freezer goes out the ice maker melts all over inside and out and everything defrosts. I do think a fridge should last longer than a few years and this all started when it was not even one year old.
