I bought an outdoor fridge/freezer drawer unit and the freezer conked out. Perlick replaced it with a newer design a couple of years later. After five years, It no longer works! It seems they have discontinued this item!?!? I emailed Perlick a week ago but no-one has replied.
I have another Perlick item that keeps icing up. Perlick items are premium priced, But we have other makes of counter fridges that have been far more reliable.

I wish I had looked at these reviews before making my purchase. I chose two c-series wine fridges expressly for their supposed quiet functioning. The rep assured me they were only 41 decibels when operating, a claim made in Perlicks advertising materials. That is an outright lie. I complained and they had a service rep contact me. He scoffed at that claim saying perhaps the clanging compressor was 41 decibels but the compressor fans are way louder and there’s no way to adjust that. This brand is terrible. I was bamboozled. $3800 per fridge and this is what you get?

I have both a Perlick 24" freezer and a perlick 48" refrigerator. The freezer gave out a month after the warranty was up. It needed a new compressor at a cost of $1800 by the Perlick authorized repair company. Now, the refrigerator has the same problem, a bad compressor... I basically spent $9k+ for these items which are complete garbage. I would NEVER buy Perlick residential again.

I own a Perlick appliance
Perlick has the WORST customer service. I bought an expensive wine fridge that has stopped working after 2 years. It is still under warranty and I have been waiting almost 3 months to get someone who can repair it. Perlick's customer service has been very slow to respond and follow up. This has been extremely frustrating! I have never experienced such poor service!

We purchased the column 24 inch freezer and refrigerator. We love them. Our refrigerator did have an issue when it first arrived, but Keane from their residential department took our case seriously, and quickly dispatched a technician. The technician solved our issue on the first visit and it has been working great ever since.
The units them selves are bright, and very large. they look great in our home. We are very happy with the units

I bought a Perlick. Very expensive. They sent me a crappy, cheap-looking fridge with a styrofoam door. I could have done better shopping at 7-11. The thing doesn't even work.
Don't. Ever. Buy. Perlick. Complete waste of money.
Also, no refunds or exchanges (AJ Madison), so I'm apparently stuck with this garbage.

I bought a $4000 under freezer during the construction of a new home. Within weeks of plugging it in and using it the unit stopped working. Turns out the condenser coils had frozen. The repair technician contacted Perlick and was told that the customer must have left it open. This happened again, after being very careful to shut it each time it was used, and then I started reading reviews. Turns out that this is a very common problem. The freezer drawers do not close and form a seal adequately. I only store things like nuts or other product in it because it is so prone to problem. Other have replaced the unit with a SubZero because they are so disgusted. I am heading that was shortly. I am sure the motor mechanical parts may be fine but the design it inadequate. The worst appliance I have ever purchased at any price. If I could give it less than 1 star I would have. This is definitely not quality that is innovative or inspires.

While Perlick makes an appearance of supporting customers through these reviews, we've gone round and round with trying to contact them offline now as requested and have STILL RECEIVED NO RESPONSE. To say we are disappointed is an understatement but to attempt to project an image of customer care and support and then not follow through... is unacceptable.
We purchased both an under counter beverage center and wine fridge during construction of our home - specifically designing the kitchen area around these units because we were assured they were the "top of the line" and the best commercial grade products on the market. Unfortunately, we've had nothing but trouble from BOTH units since we turned them on. They consistently do not maintain temperature. We've had them completely removed and replaced through Perlick technicians now twice.. one time scratching the walnut floors in the process. We were just told that this latest time, the technician will need to be paid $340 to replace a control panel which will only THEN tell them what actually needs to be fixed this time. At this point, we've spent money on repairs as well as utilities for the faulty units running nonstop. We've repaired hardwood floors. And, worst of all, we haven't actually enjoyed the units because they are always broken. Very disappointed in the Perlick quality as well as service.

Do not buy their products. Had a brand new undercounted ref/freezer combination delivered and it would not turn on. Service came. Ran for one month then freezer froze up and frozen foods destroyed. Service again. Ran another month then same thing. Nothing but trouble. You might expect more from a $6000 piece of equipment.

HUGE mistake. I'm ashamed to say I'm too thrifty to replace them. I have had nothing but trouble for eight years. The entire unit was replaced after the first year. At this very moment, the custom panels, (which are water damaged) are removed and I've added silicone around the front seams of unit. My wood floor is damaged and I've lost hundreds of $ in food. They offer high storage capacity and appear very well made. The function, however is horrible!

We purchased a Perlick refrigerator about 6 months ago for a beverage center we were installing. We wanted a quality product that would last. and we were told Perlick was one of the best brands I am so disappointed in this appliance. We have to make sure the door closes properly every time we use it, or run the risk that it stays open for periods of time. Not what I expected from a small refrigerator that cost more than any other appliance I have purchased.

I bought their product directly from them.
Perlick is known for making a good product and while I do like my outdoor ice maker and refrigerator the fridge was received with damage. I contacted the tech support number and they stated that they would send the parts to me and try to find someone to install the new parts. I told the tech guy that I knew of someone who could do the install and he immediately stated that if I arranged it they would pay him to install it..(since their closest installer was several hours away from me). I arranged the repair and had the repair guy fax in the bill just as I was told to do. Several weeks later the repair guy billed me because Perlick wouldn't pay the $80.00 repair bill. I paid it then forwarded the email that Perlick's on tech support sent me, stating they would pay the bill, to several people at Perlick asking for help with the bill. One person responded back that I would hear back the next day. A month later and several more emails and I have yet to hear from anyone at Perlick. They refuse to pay the bill even though I have email proof showing they would. They do not stand behind their promises and I honestly wish I had looked into other companies who have a good reputation of doing what they say.
Update: Perlick did contact me after the review and quickly took care of this situation. I understand that sometimes mistakes happen and overall I am happy with the products so I am changing my review to say that their products are very good and after some delays my issues have been resolved. I am changing from 1 star to 4 stars....
