“Forsite Studio designed and built two homes for us, both with over the top requirements and design constraints. They did nothing short of amazing with both the design and construction. We absolutely love the homes they have built for us. It might sound obvious, but the greatest thing about Forsite is their foresight. They were excellent guides when building our first new construction. The result has always been a home that we really like living in, often because of needs they anticipated that I did not. The second greatest thing is their credibility. They are trustworthy which is extremely important because you are completely beholden to your home builder. The last of my top 3 favorite things – they are really good at sticking to a budget, better than any other builder in Austin I've heard of. Budgets nowadays are literally impossible to predict due to dramatic changes in labor and material costs. Still, Forsite is able to stick within a very narrow contingency while producing a very desirable (even enviable) product. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to build a home in Austin.”

“Engaging Barley|Pfeiffer to design our retirement home was one of the smartest things we've ever done. The build of our house is far superior to typical construction in our area. More important, though, this house fits us like a glove. Their comprehensive design process incorporated not just our taste, but how we live, from the room flow to the allocation of HVAC components, etc. Living and building four hours from their Austin office was a bit of a challenge, but we coordinated well and they were on site at all critical junctures. The level of detail in the plans and specifications far exceeded what one typically gets, even in a full custom build. This was critical to ensuring the energy efficiency of our home. We've been in the home for two years and continue to be impressed with how little we spend to heat and cool it. We highly recommend the team at Barley|Pfeiffer Architecture.”

“It's hard to say what is the very best thing about Webber + Studio. It could be the deep understanding of Austin architecture, where it has been, where it is going, what is worth preserving and what needs to be refreshed. Perhaps it is working with professionals that have found the right mix between timely delivery and attention to detail. It might even be the dedication to ensuring that every plan is as close to perfect as possible to ensure a build that can proceed smoothly without costly, time consuming reworks. Without question it is working with a team that spends the time to get to know the client, family, how they live, what is important to them and what they can live without. For us there wasn't one very best thing, it was everything. From the beginning to the end and beyond David and the team were focused on not only delivering us the very best design but ensuring it was able to be built in the best, most cost effective way possible. We are tempted to search for a new project to do it all again.”
