Thomas was tasked with production of the interior custom cabinetry and associated custom woodworking. “My home of over forty years wrapped in memories of children, grandchildren, holidays and gatherings was becoming too much work. It was time to downsize so the process of talking to builders and architects and companies began. When I talked with Travis it was right. You just know! I told him I would be his most difficult client as for fifty years a dream of building was within me. I had notebooks filled with clippings and information. My ideas needed to be refined. He took the challenge and began to listen to what I wanted and to suggest the things I didn't even know I wanted. Although downsizing was important, space for entertaining was too so the main floor is more open. The fireplace centers the cozy space and the high ceilings are made of beautiful wood and beams. The windows bring in more light than you can imagine. A small bathroom, utility room near the kitchen, dining room and master suite also are on the main floor. Travis designed a small library for my books with a window seat that is like a little jewel box. It may be my favorite room of all. Every bit of this house was carefully considered. The roofline still delights on approach. The colors, the placement of each room, how it embraces you right away is all the talent of Travis and team. Upstairs holds a guest room, bathroom and little playroom for grandchildren. It was built to age into. It is really amazing when a good team comes together to be attentive to style, dreams and budget. They balanced everything so well and knew where to save money and where it was best spent. They knew materials that work well and where to compromise. Communication was comfortable. All the little details take your breath away.
I readily support and commend this team for it's dedication to quality work (from design to extra time put into this project). They were often on site to check progress and made this a unique and special project. I was blessed to have had such a good team to create and build this dream!”

“Lane Williams took our dated and very tired looking 1960’s one story, pitched roof home with a daylight basement and transformed it into a beautiful modern home with strong horizontal and vertical planes and cantilevered masses.
Lane's vision for the house really came together when we decided to spend the money to expand the carport to two cars. We were thinking it might not work, but when he showed us the renderings we both just thought wow – it balanced everything out and got us a look that was spectacular. The finished house got great reactions from the neighbors, and it still thrills us when we overhear the bicyclists as they zip by saying ‘Cool House!’
