His design, with floor to ceiling widows, allows the house to utilize wonderful light and brings in the beauty of the surrounding woods. “When we wanted to consider a major renovation on a 1930’s house, we contracted our interior designer and asked if she knew of anyone who was skilled enough to take on the challenge of designing new additions while maintaining the historic character of a home. She recommended Darrell, who did a fantastic job, with thorough and detailed designs and explanations in layman’s terms we could understand. He identified areas of opportunity, as well as challenges, in a professional, yet personable and pleasant manner. When instead, we decided to buy another house and move, Darrell was again who we brought in to help us with changes. He has real vision and practical experience. He redesigned the new kitchen and took on the entire remodel. Darrell recommended quality contractors and connected us with the suppliers. He advised through the whole process and worked in sync with the contractors and suppliers. Our kitchen is a stunning example of “Before and After” and we’ll definitely count on Darrell when remodeling another space in this house. He’s cheerful, insightful and talented!”
