“Andy and Audrey are absolutely amazing and we cannot recommend them enough. When we got in contact with them we were in the process of buying a semi detached house that we wanted to completely re-model, adding a two storey extension and loft conversion. We had rung around a couple of architects and got a very “we have off the shelf designs that will work here” vibe. As soon as we spoke to Andy we knew we would be using Highline. Andy’s approach was so different to the other companies we had spoken to, he wanted to design something that worked specifically for us. He asked loads of questions to make sure he really understood what we needed from the house. When we were looking at drawings Andy has produced iteration after iteration of drawings, allowing us to arrive at the very specific final layout that maximised the space for us and our lifestyle. We were particularly delighted that Andy managed to find a design that included feature spaces from our inspiration board such as a book nook, even though they didn’t initially look possible. Andy didn’t stop until we had a design we really loved. Another great thing about working with Andy and Audrey was the excellent advice they gave us. After talking to them at length about how we planned to use the various rooms they helped us identify things that we thought we wanted but would end up being redundant. This in-depth consultation process helped us optimise the design and save money in the build. We can’t wait to finish our build and we know we couldn’t have done it without Andy and Audrey. “I would gladly recommend Sam and Kanav to anyone looking for a little inspiration in their build. I was looking to build a rear extension on my property and achieved planning permission on my own design, however after a short space of time I felt the design lacked that 'wow' factor that we wanted. This is when I reluctantly admitted that we needed some inspiration; hard to admit when I am a Building Surveyor, who can inspire others.. but not when I have to design my own extension... Anyway, we approached several Architects and knew as soon as we spoke to Sam and Kanav, that we were on the same wave length. In truth, we wanted someone with a similar character to ourselves, open and chatty and have that 'can do' attitude. We were in luck as we found just the Architects. They were approachable, friendly and full of ideas. From day one conversations flowed, with various ideas coming to the fore, but all based around our requirements, one of which was to inspire us. They truly delivered. Within a short time the day arrived to sit down and review the ideas with Sam and Kanav. We were apprehensive. As with anything like this, we parted with money in the hope that it would not be wasted. We needn't have worried. The designs were fantastic, particularly when we were taken on a journey through a 3D model of each design. Overwhelmed, we took time to view the designs. We had a clear winner but took some ideas from our other options to create a fantastic new extension. Sam and Kanav tweeked the drawings and generated the planning drawings. Even the planning application looked polished and well thought out. All in all, a fantastic experience. We would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you both for all your hard work!!”
