Joe came out and did an entire inspection of my house at no cost. He gave my wife and I specific advice on what we could do to give ourselves more space. Joe gave us absolutely no pressure about making the improvements that he discussed. As it turned out, we didn't make any changes, but Joe was very helpful, and when we do need to add to or change our house we will definitely talk to Joe again.

Radames was great to work with, he walked us through our first design and build process. The finished product was just what we wanted. After enjoying the home for 5 years we just sold it for a record price in our area. Would highly recommend Radames.

My experience with Audrey Sato was outstanding. She truly is a talented architect who has both great vision and is detail oriented; making the process of designing and constructing my fitness studio a fun and seamless one. I appreciated that she kept in constant contact with me, and was very hands on from design through construction. I felt comfortable asking questions and giving input, and am was very satisfied with the results. Pictures of the studio can be found on Facebook under 'The Dailey Method Calabasas'. Its a beautiful space. Clients of the studio rave about how beautiful, well lit, and comfortable the space is. And we owe it all to Audrey Sato Design Studio!

I have know Gerald Compton for many years. He is a wonderful Architect and Designer of Homes. He did a house for me over 25 years ago the first time. The house in Manhattan Beach was fantastic. Later Jerry did a second home for my daughter and her husband at the Beach. They love their Beach Cottage. He is now helping us remodel a home for my son and his family. The City of Manhattan Beach has been difficult, but Jerry has helped us and we hope to have the remodel done soon. He is truly a super guy with a lot of talent.

My husband and I worked with FoxLin Architects on our custom ground up home in Carlsbad (north of San Diego), California and we would very highly recommend them. The home is now complete and it is remarkable down to the last detail. We felt like our values were always considered and we had countless conversations about even the smallest of details from paint colors to the cabinetry handles. At times we questioned the proposals and in the end we could see and now can understand their vision. Juintow and Michael are both very talented, innovated and experienced architects, designers, and project managers who can easily show many iterations on the computer as well as obtain countless physical samples of tiles, stain samples etc. This level of personal dedication and attention to detail is what constantly put us at ease on the design of our new home.
The bottom line is that we count on them for envisioning designs and that is also what set them apart from others. It is also worth mention that they were always grounded enough to understand our budget and make not only beautiful, but also realistic proposals. Again, we are highly recommending FoxLin Architects to anyone who wants a bit more than norm.

Sorensen Architects vision is right on schedule with the material chosen for their projects, Steel-Wood-and Nutruel base line material. The flooring to the walls creates a organic setting with nature. We specialize at Malibu Living Home in Sustainable material and Architectural Surfaces, I find the choices Sorensen uses supports that element of comfort with minimal impact . I too live in Malibu for the last decade, what an Architects goal I believe is to bring a seamless union with exterior and interior settings to one living spaces do to the amazing natural beauty that surrounds us here. Sorensen has found that line and design and has beautifully capture that delicate balance.

Cory is a fantastic architect and was absolutely wonderful to work with. His immersive virtual walkthrough design process really helped us understand and visualize what our new office is going to be like prior to construction. Cory has a good eye for design, he guided us through the materials selection process and help picked out natural wood, stone materials and paint colors that make our new space harmonious and welcoming. Whatever we tasked Cory, he gets it done beautifully and promptly. He is professional yet amicable and easy to work with. We couldn't be happier with what Cory came up with for our new office space and will definitely reach out to WALKS studio again with our next project.

We met Dulcie through an introduction from the property owner for this project. From our first meeting we knew we were working with not only a superb design professional but someone that exhibits great professionalism amongst all the parties involved in any project, mainly the client, the contractor and the other consultants. We recommend her to anyone needing an architect! We look forward to working with her and her firm in the future.
TOLO Architecture

We have a mid-century one story home built in 1959. We hired TOLO Architecture to update the home. We worked with architect Peter Tolkin who transformed both the interior and exterior making it a fine example of contemporary design while being conscious of both budget and the integrity of the original design. Our living room, kitchen and dinning room were enlarged visually by exterior mounted "barn doors" which open the spaces to the outside, and by raising the exterior walkway elevation with wood decking to the level of the interior floor elevation. Peter's design added 5 feet to the master bedroom, designed a wall of built-in cabinetry of closets and drawers. The design placed barn doors on two adjacent corners of the room which transformed an ordinary bedroom into an extraordinary space which opens to the outside wood deck and pool beyond. He also resigned the circa 1959 "lava rock" free-form swimming pool. Peter used the pools existing footprint to create a new rectangular pool with spa which has a continuous spillway into the pool. It really is a water sculpture with sound! He secured our hillside with a 50' long horizontal white wall (5' tall) which not only keeps the landscape in place, but gives beautiful definition to the pool area. He designed a 400 sq ft pool house, perfect with shower right from pool. Barn doors at the corners makes the pool house an indoor/outdoor space. And last, but not least as the saying goes, Peter created an outdoor living room which steps down from the wood deck. It is complete with a cushion covered concrete banquette and a large fireplace within a concrete base. The house was featured in Pasadena Magazine (cover and inside) in an issue showcasing indoor/outdoor living. It was a pleasure working with TOLO Architecture!! They are creative, cost conscious, and responsive.

Lisa Little worked wonders in our smallish Venice space. We had complicated needs and she found elegant solutions within a tight budget. We redid a kitchen from the walls out, extended it a bit, added a bar, added in a huge walk-in closet and staircase in the master bedroom, and reconfigured a guest loft. The latter involved enclosing a half-wall for privacy via rotating shutters that Lisa dreamed up and designed. The shutters rotate open when the loft is not in use and closed when we have company up there. This was a brilliant idea, brilliantly executed at not much cost. Lisa helped with fixture choice, color choice, and furniture choice, and worked closely with the general contractor and his subs. She exhibited great taste, a firm hand, and a keen eye on the budget. Recommended without reservation.
