“I am neck deep in a hugh addition/ remodel project on a home in the Crestview neighborhood. I chose Richard Hughes as my architect, and he has been incredible! First of all, he is such a nice man and so easy to work with! His ideas on how to open up, modernize, and improve the functionality of this modest 1950s home have been amazing! As the project progressed, Richard personally stopped by several times to see how things were going, and even met with the engineer there to help us determine what would need to be done in order to vault all the ceilings, which had not in our original plans. Richard has been very generous with his time on the phone, emails and texts as the project expanded! He was so patient with my numerous changes! He also hooked me up with a great engineer and a permit expediting service. I am so exicted and thrilled at how this house is being totally transformed! I plan on hiring Richard to do plans for a new construction project I am planning for 2020 as well. I would not even consider working with anyone else! PHOTOS below show Oringal den, Orignail kitchen, original dining and living rooms- then after demo and new framing with walls remove, kitchen gutted, and ceilings vaulted!”

“My wife and I owned a small two bedroom, one bath bugalow in the historic Heights neighborhood in Houston, Texas. When we decided we wanted to renovate the house to meet our specific needs, we wanted to find an architect that we felt comfortable working with, would be open to incorporating our ideas, and would be cognizant of preserving the historic features of the neighborhood. Bruce Roadcap met all this criteria and much more. Bruce was patient and guided us through the design process. He never pushed his ideas on us, but instead presented us with options to consider. I think Bruce's best quality is his ability to tune in to his clients tastes and needs. As a result, we worked together to come up with a wonderful design, which was documented in a professional, complete and thorough set of construction documents. But most importantly, Bruce supported us throughout the entire construction process, and beyond. His professional knowledge of the construction process, and ability to deal with contractors helped immensely. He made himself available to us at any time to offer his support and advice. Overall, it was a pleasure working with Bruce, and we are grateful to him for helping us build our dream home.”
