Wilcox Architecture combines high quality design with personal attention to guide clients from site and building assessment through the design and construction processes. Tom Wilcox specializes in residential projects in all areas of greater Cincinnati including Amberley Village, Anderson, Hyde Park, Indian Hill, Madeira, Mariemont, Mt. Lookout, Prospect Hill, Terrace Park, Walnut Hills, Wyoming and Northern Kentucky. He has also completed multiple projects in Michigan. Tom has extensive experience with new homes, additions, renovations, kitchens, basements, porches, decks and historic preservation. Wilcox Architecture was launched in 2001 on West Street in Mariemont, and moved in late 2010 to Hyde Park. Tom had previously partnered with Dennis Malone in the firm Malone & Wilcox, after working a number of years for Reno F. Runck III, Architect in College Hill. Tom’s past work experience includes historic preservation, municipal projects, nursing homes, restaurants, railroad structures and residential projects. Tom has construction experience; he was the general contractor on a number of Wilcox Architecture’s early projects. This experience has served him well—he understands how buildings go together and puts together a very builder-friendly set of construction drawings. He also gets out to job sites frequently to make sure construction is adhering to the design, handle any questions that come up, and further develop his construction knowledge.

We create our environment, and then it creates us. In today's hyper-fast technological world what is missing are places that support our emotional needs for connection, for balance, for being. Our relationship to the environment, to each other, and connection to our own true self can all be supported by our built environment. We all need support. Our homes can support us if they are designed to allow rather the constrain the activities we need. This in turn, will enable us to truly support others. By deeply listening and then identifying the patterns of your home and life, together we can discover what is missing and what needs modifying. I can then help you create your "dream home." Now is the time to get started. Call me today at (937) 421-1486 or click the "Contact Me" button for a free consultation and we can begin the process of upgrading your living environment! We look forward to working with you!

One of the few environments in our life that we have control over is our home. In today’s world, we all need a place where we can feel safe and connected; connected to ourselves, our families, and our friends. This is why it is so important to have a place where we can escape, relax and be ourselves. Communication is essential in transforming ideas and desires to reflect a space that functions to its fullest potential through the means of design. Sally considers client’s lifestyles, needs, and budget to make sure they end up with a home they will love and a place to call their Sanctuary.

We are a small office consisting of Architect Rod Sidley and two registered Architects. We have intentionally stayed small to provide personalized and individual service to each client. This approach allows me to give each project the unique attention that it deserves. Every project is the sum of hundreds of details, large and small, and we practice our belief that there is no insignificant decision when it comes to building. I offer complete Architectural Services and follow your project to completion. Our extensive and detailed drawings specify exactly what you want to have constructed including materials, details and finishes, code compliance and structural details. We have an extensive network of contractors, craftsmen and suppliers and we coordinate the process of bidding and contract negotiation to pair your project with the appropriate general contractor. During construction I am constantly fine tuning our design. I make regular site visits to monitor quality and progress, answer questions, coordinate changes and approve payments. In short, I do everything that I possibly can to make your project a success.

Award winning Home designer,Ron Globke, has been working in the building industry since 1985, He started out as a carpenter in the early years and built many homes with his hands. After a short stint in the Army(4 years), he put his knowledge of building to work with Fullerton Building Systems in Worthington, Minnesota. At Fullerton Building Systems, he was part of the design team that designed and built fast food restaurants (Taco Bell, Wendys, Burger King, and Steak and Shake) and hotels (Fairfield Inn, Days Inn, Comfort Suites) accross the country. After moving to Cincinnati with his family in 1996, Ron worked in a Truss Manufacturing Facility(Western Building Products). His experience in roof design is far greater then most in the home design industry. Having to design roof truss systems on up to 300 projects a year allows Ron to virtually see in his mind what a house is going to look like while he draws the floor plan. In 1999 Ron decided to help out builders and home owners whom were working with less than desirable plans by starting a design firm part time. After a few short years of trying to do both the truss design and Home design, Ron started Sensible Home Design full time and has operated the company since then. With more than 500 homes designed, Ron has a vast knowledge of what it takes to design a home with all the charm and functionality that is required.
