“Robert M. Cain was the architect for my home, completed in 2009. Photos are elsewhere on this site. Robert M. Cain (Bob) is a brilliant designer and superlative master of construction oversight. As the project began, he listened carefully to us and perfectly and seamlessly incorporated our desires into the house. The building is both beautiful and extremely comfortable. It is a LEED Platinum Home. It has many high performance features such as solar panels and geothermal heat pumps. Passive solar concepts are inherent in the design and allow us the be comfortable much of the year without heating or air conditioning. It has many windows and feels like it is in a forest, although the location is urban. It is a calm and cheerful house. Working with Bob and his staff was a completely delightful experience; it was satisfying in every way. Mary B.”

“Could not be happier!!! Outstanding customer service, communications, and quality of work! Erika listened to our wants and needs, visited our unique home site, looked at our idea books, and then helped us design a home of our dreams! She carefully took the time to factor in the ancient oak trees around the homesite which we wanted to keep, and thoughtfully incorporated important details of architectural features we salvaged from the previous old home. She is prompt with her work and reasonably priced. Can't wait to start construction!! Also hired her to design a detached garage & cottage plan to match!”

“I highly recommend Cynthia Karegeannes, Architect. Ms. Karegeannes took her time, and gave my husband and me plenty of time, coming up with a kitchen renovation plan that covered all the bases for our wants and our needs, and she made the most of every inch of space we had! She has a very good understanding of practical use of space, and placement of appliances and cabinetry. Her kitchen designs are beautiful AND functional! She "held my hand" on some parts of the project and stepped back and followed my lead at other times. I found out throughout the entire project that Ms. Karegeannes REALLY knows her trade. She also takes a down-to-earth approach to the whole project. She listens well, considers, and then offers solutions. Her work is beautiful, and my kitchen is a dream to work in every single day.”

“Rodolfo Castro, of Casto Design Studio, is an amazing architect who I highly and very regularly recommend to others. By far the best part of our build was selecting Rodolfo of Castro Design Studio as our architect. We absolutely hope to use him again on future projects. Rodolfo worked for the first half of his career under one of Atlanta's most prestigious architectural firms. Rodolfo now brings the same high quality work, customer service, easy working relationship and incredible artistic talent via his boutique design studio. To say he works exceptionally well with clients and other professionals is an understatement. Rodolfo's expertise far exceeds architecture alone as he is extremely talented, knowledgeable and involved in all aspects of the building and design process. His hand sketched plans and elevations are so beautiful they deserve to be framed. His drawings are so remarkable, in fact, that City of Atlanta inspectors commented that they rarely see hand drawn renderings any more. Rodolfo listened to what we wanted and further perfected our vision. He helped us achieve lovely design finishes and architectural elements unique to our home and the topography of our lot.
