Oscar E. Flores Design Studio (OFDS) was opened in 2007. Oscar and his team are setting new design trends that include international and major metro preferences in south Texas. Although Oscar favors modern design styles, OFDS masters all traditional styles as well. OFDS works with client preferences and allows them to try something traditional, transitional or altogether out of the box. Also, many custom builders choose OFDS to work as their “in house” custom home designer. Although design is the skill set, the focus is on client satisfaction and experience. OFDS delivers on the certainty that clients hire him to bring the highest level of expertise, skill, knowledge and service all while respecting their time. OFDS is the perfect fit for anyone desiring consulting and/or design services that are out of the box, regardless of size.

MF Architecture is an award-winning, licensed architecture firm that welcomes residential and commercial projects, both small and large. We work with all budgets with competitive design fees. The design work of Matt Fajkus Architecture is based on the belief that each project is unique, as it should be driven by the client, the site, and functional requirements, rather than a singular, preconceived aesthetic. The firm aims for clear and simple solutions to complex problems by blending expertise as well as experimentation. As a young and energetic collaborative, the firm is simultaneously an academic think tank, directly connected to theoretical and technological research at the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture, while also practicing as an office deeply focused on realizing exceptional buildings. MF Architecture possesses advanced knowledge in sustainable design principles, including energy-efficient strategies, passive daylighting, and intelligent material choices to promote healthy indoor air quality. The office believes that the current sustainability-driven era is the most all-encompassing movement since Modernism, as it reaches to all scales of design including lifestyle choices. Thus, the firm is driven by the optimism that we live in an ideal time to affect positive change locally and globally, all accomplished by intelligent design. MF Architecture promotes a transparent design process including a direct collaboration with client and builder. Likewise, the firm fosters honesty and functionality in design itself, with a belief in balancing restraint and expression in broad design moves as well as material choices and composition. The firm enthusiastically takes on the unique challenges presented by each project to inspire highly creative, cost-effective solutions meant to enhance building performance and daily life as a whole.

ARBIB HUGHEY DESIGN was founded in 2010 by Ben Arbib and Ed Hughey, who met while graduate students at the University of Texas School of Architecture. After years practicing in other offices, they opened their design studio with a commitment to create quality architecture and inspirational spaces through a rigorous and collaborative design process. AHD works diligently on every project to provide a rich, honest, and carefully considered design solution. AHD develops their design solutions through open exploration utilizing sketches, models, drawings, and renderings which convey ideas clearly to both client and builder. The design process is never straight forward nor fully complete. Experience has instilled the belief that design opportunities present themselves during any phase of the design or construction process, reacting to these moments allow for a more exciting and successful result. And while AHD's ideas may be big, they pay careful attention to the specifics of each project: truly great architecture resides in meticulous details. AHD enjoys building strong relationships with their clients and believe that the collaborative approach always results in a better project. Each project begins by creating an open dialogue where free communication and listening are of the utmost importance. AHD takes the time to learn about their client’s vision, needs, and goals for the project before putting pencil to paper. The site, and its environment, are also important catalysts for our designs. We take great care in analyzing a site for its relationship with the earth, the sun, the wind, and sky. A thoughtful approach to how a building and the site interact can dramatically improve a project and, therefore, a Client’s daily experiences. We also believe that sustainable design is important for every project and that good, responsible sustainable practices should be implemented no matter the size or budget of a project. Great architecture requires precise planning and integration of all phases of a project. In order to provide our clients with a smooth, seamless process AHD offers a full range of services: Residential and Commercial Architecture Landscape and Hardscape Design Interior Design + Interior Selections Master planning, Feasibility Studies, and Site Evaluation Permitting and Regulatory Consultation

From Houston originally, Erica Heroy comes from the family of a machine designer/ inventor, a classical musician, and some wild entrepreneurial spirit. This practice was born out of that spirit with a drive for putting things together in a lovely and practical way. Formative years spent at firms like Tsao & McKown in NYC and Glassman Shoemake Maldonado in Houston have inspired a practice built on exceptional design and great client relationships. Those firms also gave us an interest in staying power, tradition, appropriateness, and an excitement of where old and new meet. The last few years, it has been our pleasure to collaborate on projects of different styles, sizes, and budgets and see them through construction. While our practice is rooted in architecture, we have a strong aesthetic for interior design and enjoy the process of layering on style, color, and texture. Erica Heroy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture in 2001, was registered by the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners in 2007, and joined the AIA in 2014.
Pavonetti Architecture began in 2013 as a small, boutique architecture practice in Austin, TX. We believe that the success of any architecture is strongly dependent on the relationship between the client and the architect. The site of the proposed building and all of its physical characteristics must be considered thoroughly and the design process must be rigorous, relentless, and inclusive of architect and owner.

Point B Design Group based in Austin TX focuses on architecture as a holistic process. We believe architecture is the result of design, client needs, schedule, budget, and construction. Point B Design Group’s main focus is to create elegant solutions to clients program requirements by collaborating with essential team members from the beginning. Our process delivers the essence of Design-Build which is the collaboration between architect, builder, and client. This leads to a seamless transition between documentation and construction. Because the contractor is on the team early on, there is an understanding of design intent that cannot be communicated through drawings alone. Our practice creates an efficient design and documentation process and ultimately construction process. The synergy between design and construction is essential to creating successful end products. Point B Design Group’s main focus is our client’s satisfaction by streamlining the design and construction process, minimizing stress of construction - ultimately arriving at Point B successfully.

Office of Architecture, based in Wimberley, Texas, is an award-winning, design-oriented firm with over thirty years of experience. Providing creative solutions to both residential and commercial clients, the designs of the Office of Architecture are grounded in proven design principles resulting in architecture that is clear and precise, conceptually simple but exciting, and appropriately contextual without being derivative. Guided by the architectural principles of form, light, proportion, and sustainability, ooA is committed to being of service to their clients, helping them realize the maximum potential of their project while creating solutions that are as unique and individualized as their clients and their needs. Through working with their clients to clarify project goals, they search for the best program based response, not necessarily the most obvious or expected one. Continually engaging their clients throughout the process, that response is carefully analyzed, challenged, and refined, rendering it into architecture that not only meets programmatic requirements but inspires, nurtures, and celebrates the user and observer as well. Neel, a graduate of UT Austin and Principal of ooA, became a registered architect in 1985 and opened his first office in 1986. With more than thirty years of experience, Neel has successfully designed and managed the construction of a large variety of projects including office buildings, recreational facilities, restaurants, churches, medical facilities, private residences, and multi-family developments including a co-housing project in Arizona. While employed by a real estate development firm, Neel spent seven years focused in the construction industry, being in charge of construction activities for custom single family residences, cluster homes, and townhouses. A long time interest in sustainable design led Neel to exploring such alternative building materials as adobe, rammed earth, straw bale, structural insulated panels, and more recently, insulated concrete forms (ICFs).
