My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

“We actually began a remodel of our kitchen and master bedroom with a design/build firm other than Sardone/McLain. After a few months of back-and-forth with the designer and builder it became apparent that they didn't really seem interested in anything other than getting the contract. We'd also started hearing stories from our neighbors about the firm not finishing jobs in a timely manner, and going days or weeks without showing up. Even though we'd already spent several thousand dollars with them we decided to look at other firms. Through Houzz we found Sardone / McLain. When they took over this project, they came over and wanted to know how we live in our house. they asked "What are the things about the house you love? What are the things that you would like to see better. How do you use it? Where do you spend most of your time? Where do your guests congregate?" They got to know US first, and that comfort level you can't put a price on. Sardone/McLain then coupled a beautiful design and superior craftsmanship to create a space we absolutely love. “Matt did my sketches, design and construction documents for my new build. After we first connected, he met me at the lot and we discussed design and what attributes of the home were most important to me. The lot that I purchased is very small, so he had to get creative. Within a week, he had a few options to me and I fell in love with one of them immediately. He had a lot of really cool design ideas that he suggested and I went with. Matt was very responsive and hit all of the time deadlines that we initially discussed. He worked over the holiday and turned the entire project in under a month. I plan to build again and will only use Matt. He’s very talented and has a keen eye for design. I highly recommend using him for any project!!”
