She was with us from start to finish of the project and we owe the success to her. Lauren has great design skills which is completely obvious by viewing her portfolio. “We are in the design stage of building our retirement home. Caleb Johnson and his Team took a very restrictive and tight square footage lot and created our dream house. We were so excited! Next came the local Planning Board, state agencies, permits, more permits, more restrictions etc and we were so discouraged. But Caleb, Josh and Michael never stopped and have kept our dream alive with their experience, vision and professional contacts and resources. Demolition is next and we look forward to continuing the journey with Caleb Johnson Architects and Builders.”

“We chose Kelley based on what we saw on her website as well as houzz.com. Her style was consistent with what we were looking for. Her recommendations were stellar. One of them included a prominent person who has used her for multiple projects, both commercial and residential. She designed a master plan for renovation for our home, which entailed moving the master bedroom over a garage, opening up the downstairs floorplan, kitchen expansion, mudroom, dormers. Her services included 3D sketch models and Construction documents. She is a pleasant person, who is knowledgeable and confident, but not overbearing. She has many resources and also desired to work closely with our contractor. She really listened to what we were saying, and successfully incorporated design elements that were important to us. She is intuitive and read our needs well. She is budget conscious. The final cost of her service was consistent with what she listed on her estimate. We highly recommend her and anticipate using her for further services once construction commences.”

“Laine redesigned our 19th century Queen Anne Victorian, helped us find our builder and shepherded us through the entire project which included a complete renovation of the kitchen, third floor master suite, main entryway, deck and the addition of a cupola. His attention to detail is superb: floor plan, windows, doors, details in moulding and direction on lighting and fixtures. He was unfailingly calm and reassuring with us and with our builder and was always available to guide us through difficult decisions. We discovered fire damage to our roof during the project and Laine worked quickly with our builder to find a solution and kept the project on schedule. The finished project won a local award for a renovation that stayed true to the architecture of the period.”
