Our project involved adding a primary suite and a covered porch to a very unique lot, as well as renovating a basement bedroom and bath. We were very happy with all aspects of the project. It posed some unique issues because we needed to inhabit the house during the process. Ryan worked with the builders to plan and facilitate this. His designs not only preserved the character of our mid-century modern ranch, they greatly enhanced it. He was an invaluable resource for choosing surfaces and colors. We are very grateful that we found Ryan and his diligence and his solid partnership with the builder changed our house and our life for the better.

My husband and I had Childress & Cunningham build a house in the woods overlooking the Ohio river in Hebron Ky. The project needed profession and very talented experenced team to complete this task. Chad had a very difficult job in designing a house for my husband and I. My husband is a senior construction manager and therefore very knowledgeable in the construction field. He and Chad could "talk shop" very easily. I on the other hand don't know the first thing about building, design or construction. I also am not good at visualizing things that don't exist nor am I really even good at verbalizing what I like. So needless to say, Chad had his work cut out for him working with a couple with such diverse knowledge. Along with our knowledge differences, my husband and I also have very different tastes, mine more vintage and victorian and his more contemporary Chad did a great job of essentially explaining every part of the process in two different languages to two very different people (my husband and I) at a level that was appropriate for both/each of us. To help understand my taste and preferences (since I can't verbalize or explain well) he had me create a board on houzz and other social media sites so he could see what I liked. Using this and taking into my husbands taste and preference, he created our dream home. A house we both love. In addition to this, Chad has just been wonderful to work with in every way. He is talented yet humble, and incredibly easy to work with. I highly recommend Chad and fold and form to anyone looking for an architect/builder

I had a hand drawing of what I wanted and he made it happen. Nodas also provided general contractor, sub contractor and supplier references, made himself available on weekends and after work hours, offered his services with the build, and worked within my budget. We had the pleasure of working with Mary for too short of a time but still thoroughly enjoyed the work that she created. She came up with such clever ideas. I wish the house could have been built but by no fault of Mary's, it will stay as a wonderful design. I would have no problem referring friends to Mary.

We were extremely happy with the architectural services that dwellbeing provided. We were undertaking a kitchen renovation that required removing a back stairwell. Brent listened to all of our ideas and concerns and made suggestions to improve the design beyond our initial expectations. We wanted the functionality of a new modern kitchen but at the same time wanted to keep some of the character of our century old home. Brent did a great job of explaining the entire renovation process to us and provided architectural drawings for various layouts. He made expert recommendations for how to arrange and select the appropriate sized cabinets, sink and appliances. The unique value of his insight and recommendations became even more apparent when we started using the kitchen and realized how smart and functional the layout is because of his plans and recommendations. We have plenty of space for foot traffic and storage and everything you need always seems to be just an arm’s reach or 180 degree turn away. In addition to the design, Brent recommended a contractor that we absolutely loved. As you would expect with a home this age, there were a few unforeseen issues uncovered once demolition started. It seemed like any time something came up, Brent had already examined the issue, made the necessary phone calls and had a plan in place with our contractor by the time we came home from work that same day. We would enthusiastically recommend architect Brent Niese to anyone.

John Senhauser is a consummate professional and represents the epitome of what an architect should be. Quite simply, the opportunity to work closely with John and his team was the most memorable facet of our project. While his strongest attributes include the precision of his work and his attention to detail, we also discovered that he enjoyed the architect-client interplay, and what resulted was a very organic process. He remained intimately involved with the aesthetics of the project until the end, which we appreciated, because he has a very strong perspective and an exceedingly high level of taste. Ultimately, his design was able to seamlessly meld together 19th century late Victorianism (our house) with a contemporary addition that met all our needs. John Senhauser Architects receives our highest recommendation .

We first started to work with Toby to add a front porch on our house. That one project turned into 4 other projects over the years (new kitchen, patio, retaining wall, remodeled basement). His ability to take an architect’s plans and make them into reality has made us and friends call him “master of the universe”. Toby is very trustworthy, gets work done quickly and with top quality. These are just a few of the reasons we already have several other projects that we will be working with Toby.

After, two major successful projects with Alto team, it’s our pleasure to give five stars. We’d give six if we could. Whole house remodel with total transformation of the kitchen was our first project. Our second a few years later was an outdoor room addition (veranda). Alto provided inspiring design ideas, collaborative consulting, and outstanding project management. The team made the projects easy with pre selections, no surprise Billings, and proactive communication.

Jonathan did a nice job. Helped us lay out existing bedroom into master bath and master closet. So so nice! The bedroom has all the features we asked for. We love it!!

Throughout the design process, she provided creative solutions to improve the flow of the house always keeping in mind our goals for the finished project. It was clear from the beginning that she listened to us and was able to translate that into an architectural design. The designs were not only visually appealing, but she was able to explain the purpose of each decision. She walked through plans in an organized, systematic manner that helped keep us on target. We are detail-oriented individuals, so it is easy for us to go on a tangent or get bogged down in the options. She addressed those details without getting us off track or overwhelmed. She had excellent experience guiding the decisions required in a renovation. She helped us with clearance and spacing concerns that were hard to visualize until the project was finished. We had unexpected and unusual structural issues arise, and Tess worked quickly and effectively with our contractor to provide different solutions. Her suggestions have all been on target and some of the changes are features we now love. Ultimately, the project reflected the intention of the design, our style and goals of the project. She was very professional throughout the entire process, easy to work with, and did an excellent job of guiding us toward smart decisions that produced a cohesive result. Our lives were much easier by hiring Tess for this project.
