“Our home was built in the 1880s. We had lived here for more than 20 years. By raising four children, hosting many events and neighborhood gatherings, pets, and extended family living with us, the house and kitchen had served us well... and it showed. We had always dreamed of remodeling our kitchen and delayed it until we knew we could create just the style and look we wanted. For years we would plan and remember and tuck those ideas away for that special day. We explored many different builders and when we came across Make Her Mark, we felt their style and previous work aligned with our intentions and hopes. In meeting with them, there was an immediate connection and realization that their personalities and professionalism were a match also for us. They allowed us to share our vision and supported that. They offered their opinions and even preferences, but they never forced that upon us. They allowed us to lead, and when we could not or were hesitant, they would be there to respond with reassurance or with directions that ultimately led to a beautiful, beautiful kitchen. It is what we had hoped for all along. With any project of this magnitude, there are bumps and aggravations along the way. One of the best things about Make Her Mark is that we could express our anxieties and Todd and Tracy could hear it and we dealt with it and moved along. Another key part of why we are satisfied with the overall experience is that not only are Todd and Tracy kind people, but the collaborators they found to do the work were also kind and quite thoughtful. There were some moments of stepping on one another's toes and bumping against egos, but no permanent damage was done. This became a part of the story behind the finished product.”

“As a 37-year veteran of doing industrial and commercial real estate development, including building office, commercial and medical buildings, I have worked with various designers and architects along the way. In deciding to be the general contractor to build our dream house, I was provided Mike Batagglia's name as someone to consider to undertake the design work. Of all the decisions that went into building this house, bringing Mike on board as the designer was one of the best decisions that my wife and I made. From the beginning, Mike was a delight to work with and he understood what we wanted to build and put to paper what our ideas were. We did spend many months on and off looking at different ideas and suggestions that Mike provided, he guided us in terms of product choices and recommendations. His knowledge and expertise on so many items proved to be invaluable. What we truly appreciated in working with Mike is that he was always available to talk or meet to answer questions or review ideas. Mike was true to his word in terms of being a partner in the design and construction and always had our best interests in mind in how he approached the design and implementation. His attention to detail as well as the big picture in every facet from site work to finish paint has been most welcomed. The end result is that Mike Batagglia provided us our dream home and we could not be happier with the results of his work. He has become a good friend and someone that I trust implicitly. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a designer for your next house, Mike Battaglia will prove to be the best choice without question. Thanks, Mike, for everything you did for us! “We had the pleasure of working with Mary for too short of a time but still thoroughly enjoyed the work that she created. She came up with such clever ideas. I wish the house could have been built but by no fault of Mary's, it will stay as a wonderful design. I would have no problem referring friends to Mary.”
