Throughout the process of designing, building, and appointing our new house - and it was our first rodeo - he was able to translate complex ideas and visions into a language and image we could understand. He was able to take our unformed, disorganized ideas and produce a beautiful, modern, functional house that our young family adores. The fact that it came on both beautiful and on budget... we were very, very satisfied.”

He delivered exactly what we were looking for, and was willing to work with our Builder to accept minor recommendations which enhanced the overall construction cost. His 3-D modeling system was very helpful to visualize just how the rooms will fit together. His pricing was fair and we are very happy customers. I would definitely work with him again.”

“We have worked with Jennifer on multiple construction efforts and we are continuously amazed at the quality of the work, the professionalism, and the overall personal touch she has given each of our projects. She takes the time necessary to get the design just right. In our most recent remodel we were amazed at how efficiently she was able to use the space to maximize our living space and storage while minimizing wasted areas. She also strikes a nice balance between keeping with the character of our old home while sprinkling in some modern touches.”

“We are completely satisfied with the level of service we received from Home Design Works. Our Tennessee lake home was in need of a face lift and an extensive remodel/addition. Home Design Works had been highly recommended to us by a local builder. They certainly did not disappoint. Matt Lawler took time to completely understand our lifestyle, needs and desires for our home (functionally and aesthetically). Our project presented unique challenges with property setback limitations. His creative architectural ideas, vision and experience were indispensable in making our dream become reality while working within the constraints of our property. “Matt designed our house several years ago - he did an awesome job - he spent a lot of time on the front end listening to what we were looking for (and looking at our bulging clippings folder), coming up with several options for us to choose from, and working with our builder. Everything stayed on budget and within our time frame. I would definitely recommend him.”
