“In 2025, we wanted to update our bathrooms but didn't want a simple refresh of what we already had. We felt the layout of the master bathroom could be improved. We met the Mires at the Home & Garden Show at Lamar Dixon. Liking what we saw there we scheduled an appointment for Mireworks to come to our house. Vickie & Blake came to see our home and discussed some options in general terms and said they would create an estimate for them to develop computer plans. Mireworks did exactly what they said. We were sent renderings for 4 different options. Over a Zoom call Vickie reviewed each option in detail, patiently answered all of our questions, and made revisions on the fly. After making our final decision, we received our detailed construction packet and Mireworks final invoice which was slightly lower than their lower estimate. All 3 of the contractors we met with for estimates were complimentary of the work plans. After choosing a contractor, Vickie was available to meet with him and answer any questions, We are very pleased with our new bathrooms and definitely recommend Mireworks to anyone planning a kitchen or bath project.”

“Mike designed a phenomenal open floor plan for my 70+ year old home in Broadmoor. The home was originally 2 bed/1 bath with no centralized AC & heating & no W & D hook-up. Mike transformed this dated matchbox into a cozy & modernized 2 bed/2bath bungalow. To achieve this look, Mike designed a slight addition to the exterior of the existing home to create space for bigger bedrooms, another bathroom, a laundry area, and a multitude of closets for storage. Not only will my newly renovated home be more spacious & functional, Mike also incorporated in his design for the home to be equipped with natural gas & centralized AC/heating. He even created innovative ways to add more character to the home by adding a front porch, a mud room area at the side entryway, a tray ceiling in the kitchen area with an island, and a small wet bar in the living room! Not only is Mike a skilled and talented architect, he’s very knowledgeable of all of the residential zoning design laws & codes in the city. With my home he showed me acceptable designs for the front of the home (which btw he also designed) and the acceptable extension to the home addition. I couldn’t be more impressed and satisfied with Mike’s professionalism and the home he re-designed for me.
