“A HUGE thank you to Deri and Antonio from Tranquil Design Builders for truly listening to our needs and creating a safe, beautiful home for my mother to enjoy! My childhood home will continue to stand the test of time thanks to Deri Washington and her incredible team. She is truly a force to be reckoned with. Since establishing Tranquil Designs LLC in 2010 alongside her husband Alexander Washington their vision of creating beautiful, calming spaces filled with tranquil energy, has continued to soar-earning awards year after year on Houzz and other platforms. Tranquil Designs LLC. created the design concept and layout. Tranquil Design Builders took that concept and brought it to life. Then we had the privilege of using financing to purchase furniture and decor through her furniture company Tranquil Designs Home. After implementing their proven three-step approach, Tranquil Designs not only met our expectations—they completely exceeded them. From the very beginning, their process brought clarity, structure, and confidence to what could have easily been an overwhelming experience. Each phase was handled with intention and expertise. They took the time to truly understand our vision, lifestyle, and needs, ensuring that every decision aligned with both functionality and design. Their communication was consistent and professional, keeping us informed and at ease throughout the entire journey. What stood out most was their attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Nothing felt rushed or overlooked. Every element—from layout to finishes—was thoughtfully curated, resulting in a space that feels both elevated and personal. The end result speaks for itself. Not only did they deliver a beautifully designed space, but they also created an experience rooted in trust, creativity, and precision. Working with Deri and her team was more than a service—it was a partnership that truly brought our vision to life. Go follow her on all of her platforms!! You won’t be disappointed!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

“I needed to design an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) for my parents, who are nearing a point where they can't live independently. As an only child, it was a stressful situation, but Jeremy Hauch made the process seamless. He listened to our needs and created a beautiful, efficient plan that worked within my lot’s constraints. His thoughtful design, including energy-saving materials and strategic window placement, exceeded my expectations. What could have been an awkward structure fits perfectly with our property. Compared to other architects, Jeremy made the experience enjoyable, and I highly recommend him.”

“I can’t say enough about how great it was working with 2SL! We set out to add a story to our house, and make the existing layout more usable, while staying true to the original home's coziness and charm. We saw our vision blossom in front of our eyes, and we could not be happier! No detail was overlooked nor crazy request dismissed; it felt like a true collaboration from the initial design phase all the way through to our move-in. The whole team was thorough, detailed, and offered creative solutions when necessary. We are incredibly grateful to have had this opportunity, and will have no hesitation about hiring them again for any future renovations.”
