Great teamwork on their part Mike and crew were very helpful in renovating my home. Mike helped me with a 3D design for my kitchen and bathroom, and helped me remodel with materials. “David and his team helped my sister rebuild her house which was lost due to the Thomas Fire in Ventura. The home building process can already be a stressful experience, add another layer of complications with dealing with anything Thomas Fire (delays with permit, insurance, Covid-19, new requirements, etc.) There were so many unknowns and the only thing that we can count on for sure was David and his team's support. David especially was understanding of our need to balance budget and executing on the design that he and my sister collaborated on. He was available on numerous calls with the insurance company and our adjuster, providing the numerous documentation requested by the insurance company. With every challenge, David provided the calm and reassurance that everything will work out. His Project Manager Suky Ho is top notch. Prior to this build, I did not understand the role of the project manager. Now I do and I'm glad that she was our Project Manager. She was there to work with the sub-contractors, doing the detail work such as reviewing/doing the inventory of materials, ensuring that everything is accounted for. We love how the house turned out. We are especially grateful that David incorporated eco-friendly, sustainable features into both interior and exteriors of the house. We highly recommend David and his team.”

“I couldn't be more pleased about the design and service I received from Brooks and Kaitlin at Dunn Architecture Studio, and would recommend them without hesitation. They took my idea of building a very utilitarian guest house in an existing driveway, and turned it into an exceptional home that should be in Dwell magazine. Great outside-the-box thinkers, respectful of my budget, and incredibly thoughtful in design. They turn potential limitations into creative opportunities. Brooks and Kaitlin were hands-on the whole way through my project, and were consummate diplomats helping me navigate through some really rough spots with my contractor. They were always timely in getting back to me if I had questions and were on-site often to make sure construction was up to par. They took the design all the way through to the permit process until it was ready to issue, and were savvy and knowledgeable on getting the answers we wanted from the permit office. I could go on and on about these guys, but suffice to say, I couldn't be happier and have a home that exceeded my expectations by a long shot.”
