Kimber Ririe took her firm’s name from a building that doesn’t exist anymore. The old Penn Station in Manhattan is her mantra. A masterpiece in the Beaux-Arts style, its mix of contemporary and time-honored designs was seamlessly integrated into something wholly original and phenomenally ahead of its time - a building built for the masses that showed what intelligent, thoughtful and elegant design could do to enhance lives. 7th & Penn’s name honors this icon because it represents everything Kimber is passionate about in design. With her purposeful, authentic and well-balanced designs, Kimber isn’t limited to one aesthetic. Her two (count ‘em!) creative degrees means she understands that great design is set apart by its heartfelt respect for the fundamentals. And she uses that to create in whatever style her client’s choose.
