A4 Architecture

Ross was instrumental in taking my own vision to the next level and helping me see the potential for much greater improvements. An outstanding design was conceived which resulted in a home with much greater value and livability. Ross and his team were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommended A4 Architecture.

Ross Cann and the team at A4 have done an excellent job designing a new tennis and paddle tennis facility for the Yacht Club of which I am Commodore. They have showed great creativity in addressing the Members' needs for the facility and great sensitivity to, and patience with, the very deliberate nature of Club approval processes. The plan is in context with the neighborhood and will be a beautiful building when built. Their fees have also been quite reasonable.

I have worked with Ross and A4 on a number of projects with great results. In one instance as a selling agent i introduced Ross to my clients who wanted to to completely remodel an expensive condominium and they could not have happier with the quality of the services or the project costs. A4 worked as both project architect and project manager.

I have worked with other architecture firms on other large scale projects, and A4's approach and results are certainly the best I've seen in 30 years of project development. Hats off to A4!

We recently held a review of architectural concepts for the renovation of an athletic facility, and we invited A4 to participate, based on the company's knowledge base and prior experience. Not only were we delighted with A4's work, but the company's concept, presentation and illustrative materials were able to capture and inspire the imagination of our audience members. A4's renovation concept was forward-thinking, but in a way that was respectful of the history and culture of the surrounding area. The design was beautifully detailed, but also creatively addressed the macro needs of the entire site. Outstanding design work aside, the company's customer service has been well above par; Ross Cann has been accessible before, during and after the charette to answer questions and provide additional support. I would highly recommend A4 based on this experience.

A4 designed and supervised the building of an attached garage to a large 1880's Victorian home in Newport RI. They also worked with the lawyers navigating the complex historical review process which alterations of classic homes in Newport require. I was happy with my dealings with A4 and am very happy with the results.

I had the opportunity to experience firsthand the quality of service A4 Architecture has to offer while I was a project designer from 2009 to 2011. During my time at the company, I worked on a variety projects including high-end residential, commercial, 3d visualization, and historic preservation.
