My husband and I had an excellent collaboration with Alexandra Barbu, during the process of furbishing our new apartment. More exactly, we bought the apartment in July 2014 and due to the fact that one of its rooms (the future living with an open space kitchen) had a both big and challenging surface, we decided we needed the opinion of an expert. We actually googled for finding an architect or a company that could help us. And we found DOTKA and Alexandra Barbu Architecture which, at that moment, worked in partnership. From the very first meeting, we knew that they are what we were looking for. I remember Alexandra was trying to find out which were our tastes, what our hobbies were, what colours were we interested in, what our styles were etc. We felt immediately we knew her since forever. She understood from the beginning what we wanted, but at the same time she knew exactly how to lead us to the best decisions, by giving us the most adequate pieces of advice. During August and September, we collaborate with Alexandra in what concerns the technical project of our kitchen, our living and our bedroom. She helped us to choose the appliances, she led us to the best shops of furniture and accessories. Supplementary, she assisted us while we were installing the furniture and, after the whole process was done, she came by one more time in order to verify if there was everything alright. She spoke with the coordinator of the workers who were installing the furniture, she helped them to adjust many things to perfection. The result excedeed our expectations and we are still extremely happy we met her. We still keep in touch and when in need, we ask for her opinion. I strongly recommend Alexandra Barbu Architecture! A true professional and an awesome person!

I decided to hire Alexandra after seeing her work at my friend’s apartment. Aur house was allready furnished but lacked warmth, personality...just didn’t feel like home. Although was not a big project, she listened to what we wanted, was very flexible and had a clear process for the work she did. She also helped us stay within our budget. Very creative, very professional, and very easy to work with. Living in our newly decorated home is a source of daily joy. I'd have no hesitation recommending her to family or friends in the future.

Alexandra helped me in all my decisions and made sure to explain how each product can help me in my day to day activity. The experience that she is having shown from the first steps of the project till the end. I am glad to say that we became also friends and anytime an idea pops in my head i pick up the phone and tell her about it.
