Anne Surchin is the consumate professional. She is extremely intelligent and creative. She listens intently and is able to translate your vision into a magnificent architectural plan. Anne waved her magic wand and a tired old house became a beautiful residence. The entire house was gutted to the studs and 800 additlonal feet were added. A new state of the art kitchen and bathrooms were not only pleasing to the eye but very efficient. The open plan incorporated the waterfront and the luxuriant trees connecting the house to its scenic environment. Anne recreated the spaces both indoor and out of doors and provided my family with more than we could have possibly envisioned. I recommend Anne Surchin wholeheartedly. She is the best.

We feel so fortunate to have found Anne to help us with an addition for our summer home in Greenport. We wanted to add on a den and garage and we wanted it to look like it was part of the original house - not an easy task. From day one, Anne was a good listener, professional, extremely conscientious, meticulous in her approach, ethical, and very knowledgable. The outcome was amazing. Anne did a terrific job on our renovations in Southampton. She came up with a variety of unique solutions to specific space problems inherent in a Colonial Ranch. We did two renovations, ten years apart. Anne also supervised the construction, since it was a vacation home and we lived in Westchester at the time.

Anne was hired to create a visually interesting master suite addition. The contractor wasn't always easy to interact with, but she was always accommodating and professional. She is a wonderful listener, talented architect and a woman with integrity. She was easy to interact with, patient about multiple changes and talented enough to provide a product that exceeded expectations. I would use her again and wholeheartedly recommend her.

Anne is a very knowledgeable professional. She designed a complete new kitchen and half bath in our seventy year old home. This involved the foresight to expand the footprint of the area just enough to make the area functional. Anne did all the design and drawings, and worked with the contractor to bring the entire project to a successful finish.

Anne Surchin was an excellent architect for our small farmhouse -style kitchen renovation in Southold. I had seen a friend's renovation by her and was impressed enough to then hire her for our kitchen. She is extremely knowledgeable about architectural styles and costs and was able to work within our means. She suggested an excellent builder who kept prices down. As a woman, she was especially mindful of my needs and comfort in the kitchen and was imaginative at suggesting ideas when I didn't have a clue. I would highly recommend Anne for those who have an appreciation of good architecture and would like an architect who has the same.
