It was wonderful working with Brent. He listened to what we liked and didn't like. His first house plan drawing for us was like 95 percent what we wanted. It was better than we even imagined. He took our ideas and sprinkled in a few of his own which we liked. He is patient and knowledgeable and we felt comfortable with him from the start. He also worked to keep within our budget. I realize that there are at least two kinds of reviews that any one can write . one that is objective and one at least subjective . I need to write one that is both . Brent and the crew performed well above the scope of the initial scope of the project Due to some last minute regulation that city has passed , I need to call on Brent two extra time , not counting the initial call. Every time I call Brent was very on the ball , even thou one of the call was on a weekend. I would recommend Brent & the crew to any one in need of any architectural work. Brent has been an absolute dream to work with. He is extremely detailed oriented and thoughtful about ways to achieve excellent results economically. He listens well and takes time to understand goals, flow, light and then uses all of that to create a high impact design that is also practical and achievable. Every vendor or contractor that I've shown our plans to have been blown away but the detail and thought that was put into them. I really cannot say enough about our experience in working with Brent and his team.

Brent was truly excellent to work with! He fit my project into his schedule and designed a second-floor renovation for my historic 1930s Tudor (3 bedrooms and a master bathroom). The process was iterative and I am so pleased with the final design. He took the time to get to know me and what I wanted and then took those initial ideas and made them so much better - his work surpassed my expectations. Also, Brent is an exceptional communicator - both with myself and he took the time to talk to the contractor as well. I appreciate how organized and thorough he is plus he has a good understanding of practical considerations. He always delivered on time. I am so thankful I found his company to work with. I have known Brent Hunter and his family since high school. We are both Nashville natives. He was always considered one of the "smart" kids, and he was a great artist and athlete also. Ask to see some of his drawings and you will understand why he is such a good architect. It is not often you find someone with all of these skill sets. I also took a look at his website to make sure that all of his skills translated to his professional career, and it all checked out. This is why I decided to chose Brent for my home and pool design in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. My wife, and I had an idea of what we wanted, but Brent asked all the right questions, and was very responsive. I must admit I changed my mind quite a few times, and Brent was patient with me. Brent's style is very collaborative. It is obvious his goal is to design you the best possible home for you, and he does not push ideas that you do not like. We brought all of our idea's to the table, and he helped us think through them all, and in the end we ended up with an excellent design. He also helped us navigate codes and permits, which can be very cumbersome. The final product surpassed my expectations, and was very accurate and professional. I will definitely be using Brent for my next project.

We were so fortunate to find Brent Hunter/ArchiNerd for our East Nashville historical renovation/addition. He is a knowledgeable, responsive, experienced and talented partner on a major reno/build project like ours. We've done many extensive reno or build projects and Brent is the best architect we have worked with yet. The challenges were too numerous to itemize but Brent found excellent options to resolve them given the many constraints - including conforming to historical overlay requirements. Will post before and after photos when the project is complete.

We really enjoyed working with Brent on our project! We live in a Historic Zoning Overlay in Nashville, and Brent was able to navigate the approval process with ease. He is a great communicator and is always responsive. We recommend him 100%!

Brent is an exceptional architect! He is responsive, attentive, and created an amazing concept for our backyard office / entertaining space.
