We have worked successfully with Eric Enfield, and his team at Architectural Alliance, on many projects, over many years. Most recently we completed a multimillion dollar restoration and re-purposing of the Manderfield School on Canyon Road here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was enjoyable and rewarding working on this 12,000 square foot, historic John Gaw Meem building with Eric. He masterfully re-designed the old school building into five marvelous condominiums and adeptly added three single family homes on the original school grounds. Eric’s ability to successfully navigate the difficult City of Santa Fe’s historic review requirements and his commitment to restoring the school house to its original glory are commendable. I have worked with Eric Enfield and his excellent staff for many years on dozens of projects, ranging from small remodels to additions, larger remodels and new residences. In my 30 years as a licensed general contractor I have never encountered another architect with anything close to his skills, taste & professionalism. And Eric's abilities include marvelous "people skills" resulting in pleasant and efficient interactions, as well as great design sense, knowledge of codes and construction methods, and good working relationships with the city, county and state building officials.
