We are a luxury builder and have purchased several plans from Architectural Designs and so have our custom clients. They have excellent customer service, and a great selection of plans.

I have been buying plans from architectural designs since 2014. What is great about buying from AD is working with their designers to make modifications. The process is easy and affordable.

The house plans were easy to follow and easy to modify to our liking. It was easy to find what we were looking for and very fast and efficient when we made a final decision.

We were very pleased with our purchase from Architectural Designs. My husband and I visited several websites looking for the perfect "forever" home. One of our favorite features on the Architectural Designs website was the client build section where we could view photos from similar builds and get some inspiration. We placed the order for our plans and received them electronically one day later. They were so easy to do business with. Communication was quick and friendly. Because of the elevation of our property, our builder recommended that we flip the plans so that we didn't need to bring in a lot of fill dirt. Architectural Designs offered a reverse floor plan, which we purchased and also included the optional basement and bonus room. Our builder only made small modifications to the plans to meet current code requirements. We love our new home and would recommend Architectural Designs to anyone looking for plans to build their dream home.

The plans worked out terrifically. Having a variety of plans to choose from worked great. We found what we wanted, but like anyone building a custom home, we want what we want. We handed off the plans to an architect to make a number of alterations that fit our desires. The architect made the changes by moving a wall, expanding a porch, other changes . . . . . Once we had the changes, we reshaped our world. It was definitely a more affordable approach to a custom home. One that you still have full control over.

The company was very quick to respond to all of my questions, as well as keeping me informed on everything that I needed to know. I submitted a request for a modified plan, and A.D. got back with me very quickly with a response. They put me in touch with the plan creator, giving me contact details and everything. The creator stayed in touch with me through the entire modification process. Overall, the service provided was excellent, timely, and I would recommend this site to anyone looking for house building plans. Service was 10/10.

We have built several houses from AD plans and always had a great experience. We will continue to use AD plans.

We purchased 2 different plans from AD while trying to decide about a new home. Both times the plans were promptly delivered, and we felt a fair price for the quality of the plans. We built from the second purchase and modified the plans to suit our needs/desires. Feedback from the AD staff when we submitted photos of our build was most gracious and kind! Genuine people who seem to really love seeing their plans come to life for their clients.

My wife and I purchased our property in September of 2021. After interviewing builders, we selected Mike Stevens Homes of Knoxville, Tn. After discussing options for our dream home, they suggested Architectural Designs for building plans. We entered our Architectural Board requirements as far as size of the home and then added our wish list for a Modern Farmhouse. We were presented with a number of options but house plan #69715AM was everything and more we desired. We purchased the blueprints and license to build. We loved the entire plan but added two changes. A second fireplace on the back porch and turned the HVAC closet in the garage into a half bath. We wanted to remain true to the Designer/Architects vision and Mike Stevens Homes fulfilled our wishes. Since we are senior citizens we have our forever home, however would encourage anyone looking for plans, view this website rather than pay for an architect to draw up plans.
