I am a hands-on architect and focus on understanding a client's priorities and needs through a careful, personal design process. A residential renovation must do more than improve a home's functionality. It must integrate aesthetically with the existing structure. Whether the renovation is a redesign of existing space, or calls for the addition of new space, it must work with the lines and the "personality" of the house. I focus on problem solving through interactive processes with my clients. The creation of a home, respect for context, attention to detail, creature comforts, cost effectiveness and sustainability are all factors that enter into every project.
