What we knew is that we didn't know where to begin on a complete make-over of our 1920's English Garden Tudor home. Some friends showed us how beautifully their home had turned out after a recent remodeling and referred us to Benjamin Silver Design. We will be forever in their debt. Upon first entering our home he started to expand our vision of what was possible. We retained Benjamin Silver Design to design the exterior to include roof, unattached garage, windows, hardware, porches, walkways and painting. The majority of his artistic sense was reserved for interior spaces to include all three levels to include walls, ceiling, floors, wiring, lighting, plumbing, hardware, appliances, furniture, cabinetry, etc. He gently nudged us along as we considered floor plans, surfaces, colors, textures, furniture, fixtures, appliances and every other element of what was to be. His patience, his knowledge of products and prices, his ability at negotiating with vendors and working with craftsmen came together in a final product that we are completely satisfied with. Benjamin delivered his contracted services on time, on budget and on target. He provided a number of 'value added' services that went beyond the original scope of work and without addition fees. Benjamin was more than our homes designer - he became a trusted partner in the project. In addition, we have made a new friend. We have an another residence that we will invite Benjamin to serve as both designer and contractor on. Our hope is that his schedule will allow for his involvement.
