Established in 1973, Bernardon is an award-winning regional full-service architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture firm. We currently have offices in Wilmington, Delaware, West Chester, Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Our people and our process are responsible for delivering over 45 years of thoughtful design in a wide range of commercial and residential markets, including specializing in custom, high-end Single-Family design. Led by Principal Douglas Hertsenberg, AIA, the Residential Studio in our Wilmington office places the highest priority on the specific needs of each client in order to design a home that reflects the owner’s personality and lifestyle while still ensuring that the design responds sensitively to the existing topography and natural features of the site. Doug and his team have designed custom residences ranging in size from 2,000 SF to 22,000 SF throughout Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania in locales ranging from the countryside to the seaside and everything in between.
