As a developer and a builder Blondino Design has been our go to Designer. Mike and his team are very professional and have a fresh design eye. They have provided us with 5 different plans in our subdivisions.

Mike designed our house plans for a 6000 sq ft home. He is very professional and operates in a easily approachable but business like manner. He knows what is required to get the job done, and was always listening to our inputs and questions. I believe we ended up with a complete and detailed set of plans that incorporated our concepts and ideas for a new home.

My husband and I have just completed the design process with Blondino Design (Mike and Lacey) for our new home. We found Blondino Design through our builder who had highly recommended them. We could not have had a better experience. From the start they were incredibly accommodating to our busy schedule. The work they provider was top notch and I was blown away with how they took the vision in my head and transformed it onto paper. They thought of every detail and all the ideas I came up with, they responded with a can-do attitude. They also made sure we didn’t make some common mistakes such as having bathrooms visualized from dining/family room and making sure I had a quick route to drop the groceries when I come in from the garage. Their response times to my emails were impressive and you can tell they are on top of things. We had so many laughs during our meeting and my husband and I walked away after every meeting saying, “That was fun”. Mike and Lacey became friends and we let them know we plan to have them over for dinner when our house is finished so they can see the masterpiece they designed. Our builder recommended Mike to design our home for the 2016 Street Of Dreams in West Linn Or. The process had to move rapidly as time is the biggest driving force. Mike worked tirelessly to design just what we wanted. He listened to our likes and disikes and how we wanted to use the house and still make it showcase worthy for the Street. We even had to redesign at one point to accommodate and maximize the view and he did it without a second thought and still was able to design the home to be everything we wanted it to be. We were introduced to Michael Blondino through our contractor Westlake Development. This is our first custom home experience and we did a lot of our own research prior to choosing Michael as our home designer. We went into this process having a general idea of what we wanted for our dream home. Michael’s approach to design is collaborative and solution oriented. No one can really prepare you for the overwhelming process of home building. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have Michael guide us through this very complicated process of design. He listened carefully to how we live and helped us prioritize our wish list. We were pleasantly surprised by how skillfully Michael merged our practical needs with his creative ideas. You can tell how much passion he has for his work, as our conversations about the home design never stopped when we left his office. We would be bouncing ideas off each other between in office meetings through emails and phone calls. You can see how much he really wants to create the home that you want, and never imposed his own ideas on you. However, that’s not to say that Michael didn’t have his own innovative ideas that made our home design both highly functional and beautiful. We are in the construction phase now and Michael is still an integral team member. We are so happy to have been introduced to him and have no hesitation recommending him to anyone else.

Mike did an amazing job of helping us figure out exactly what we wanted in our custom home! We initially found a plan we thought we liked from a local architectural firm and happened to find a builder who was just putting it on the market. Mike offered to meet us at the home to do a walk through. We were surprised about how many things about it didn't meet our lifestyle or our home site. After that walk through he met us on our lot and began the process of finding out our likes and dislikes about their plan and what our lifestyle and priorities were for our "dream" home. After he designed the home we postponed building for a time during witch he continued to check in to see what our timeline might be and if we needed any additional advise. We had to weigh our building costs with all the incredible home values that were in the market. Nothing could compare to the "Virtual home" and layout that Mike designed for us. We're now in the final stages of our home construction and are THRILLED with how the house has turned out. It's everything and MORE than the plans and drawings promised to become! We can't wait to have Mike come up and see how his ideas and planning transformed our visions into a truly stunning home! If ever we were to build again, Blondino Design would be our first stop! Mike Blondino designed our dream home and we couldn't be happier. We came to Mike with some internet pictures and he designed a colonial style home that exceeded our expectations. He had a vision for our home and every space had a purpose. He was professional and easy to work with. He actively listened and incorporated our ideas into the project. We hired Mike to custom design a new home for our family. We had unusual and somewhat difficult specifications for the project, for example, a detached music studio was needed, but one which could potentially be easily converted into a in-laws suite that would also be ADA compliant. Mike worked extensively with us and was able to make it all happen. We love our design and are now in the middle of the building process. We can't wait to move in.
