Everything happens for a reason… A bad experience with a different architect lead me to call Eric. From our very first conversation he just got it. He knew exactly what we were looking for and he created a house that is perfect for us right out of the gate. Eric is professional and reliable. We never had to check up on the progress of the drawings or wonder when we would hear from him. Every detail has been thoughtfully and meticulously planned. We should be starting the construction process in a couple of months and we are so excited to see our house come to life! We are so grateful we met Eric and highly recommend Blueline Architecture.

Blue Line Architecture surpassed all of our expectations! We are doing a kitchen/laundry room/ mudroom/ bathroom renovation. Our contractor told us that needed to hire an architect because of the slider we wanted to install and some walls we wanted to take down. Never having hired an architect before, I was less than excited about the additional cost to the project. However, it was actually game changing and worth every penny. And the absolute BEST decision we could have made was going with BlueLine Architecture and working with Eric and his team!!! Eric gave us NUMEROUS options, configurations, and layouts. He went above and beyond and listened to what was essential and important to our family and gave us options that I would never have even thought were possibilities. Eric showed us that the sky really is the limit when it comes to layout options and also grounded us to help us decide which of those options would fit within our budget and function for our family. Even after we finally decided on one of the options, Eric was so patient and attentive with all of the minor tweaks, changes, and questions that we had. His responses were always quick and thoughtful and the process felt like a true collaboration. While nothing is ever perfect, we feel like somehow BlueLine Architecture has managed to meet every single one of our design expectations, and are helping to give us the space of our dreams through their patience and expertise.

Eric and Wayne, and the whole Blueline team are by far the best in the business. They made our home renovation such a positive and fun experience. We are grateful to have found them when we did and look forward to working with them in the near future!

When we finally decided to go ahead with the addition of our dreams, we knew immediately that Eric was by far the best fit for the job. His attention to detail and maintaining the integrity of the original architecture sold us on Blue Line. He worked with us to ensure that our considerations were incorporated into the plans. Upon completion of this major project we are still in awe of how seamlessly perfect the addition flows with the original footprint of our sidehall colonial home. So we finally found the house of our dreams. An absolute treasure. The only problem - it was a buried treasure. Built in the 18th century, abandoned for who knows how long, with the last make over performed when polyester bell bottoms were in style. We needed an architect. After friendly suggestions and throwing internet darts they arrived. The walk throughs were filled with furrowed brows, head shaking, and recommendations that had nothing to do with our vision. And then Eric from Blueline showed up. Eric was enthusiastically all ears. Instead of wasting time explaining problems he went right to the solutions. When we used words like “airy” and “cozy” he somehow was able to translate those vague terms into practical lines on paper. Eric got our vision and contributed observations that we could never have considered on our own. We now have our sealed construction drawings in hand, done in a very timely fashion, and financially on point. We’re forging ahead getting bids from contractors. The thing is I don’t mind this new crop of furrowed brows and head shaking. There has to be a professional on par with Blueline in there somewhere.

We worked with Eric and his team at Blueline to design our outdoor covered living space and pool house. Eric and the team were easy to work with, responsive and knowledgeable. Our project required a variance and Eric guided us through the process and represented us in front of the board. Eric worked incredibly well with our pool and landscape architect to make sure all of the different elements worked together. We will be using Eric for future projects and highly recommend the Blueline team.

We worked with Eric and Blueline Architecture for an addition we are building. This will be our first time having construction done so we had no idea what to expect or what the process was like. Eric and his team were there every step of the way to explain things, answer questions and provide timely updates. We reached out to Eric to design our new house located in the wilds of Vermont based on some of his prior work. Eric travelled to the site and met with our builder and left with a high-level view of what we were looking to build. After several iterations where we vacillated between a modern design and a more traditional farmhouse-style, Eric created the perfect design to capture of essence of what we were looking to achieve. Eric created many renderings of what the house would look like situated on the lot and then created the structural plans which we were able to hand-off to our builder (with whom he was in close contact.) The extent of the details in his planning package and drawings was awesome. Some of Eric’s design elements were very forward looking and weren’t things we even necessarily were considering but which ended up fitting seamlessly into the build. I’m grateful to Eric and the Blueline Architecture team for their flexibility and responsiveness in dealing with our constantly changing plans and for designing a great mountain retreat!

Our experience with BlueLine architecture was brilliant. These guys are talented, sharp and most importantly hungry. If you have an opportunity to work with them consider yourselves lucky. I would recommend them every-time, you wont be disappointed with what you get in return, I can assure you..

We couldn't be happier with our decision to partner with BlueLine to design our forever home. Eric led our project and went above and beyond to meet our needs and help us problem solve with an artistic AND functional approach to design. After living in our completed 'entire house reno' for 2 years now, we continue to notice details that make our house unique - designed by Blueline. From the way the light filters in through window placement to the size of our closets- each detail was drawn with thought.
