About Us

Award Winning Sustainable Architecture Firm in Philadelphia
BluPath Design works closely with our clients to design simple, elegant and environmentally sensitive spaces that inspire. We believe that beauty is fundamental to sustainable design. By listening carefully to our clients' needs and values we build a shared language. Our mission is to help our clients and communities thrive. What you notice when you walk into a BluPath room is the splendor of light, texture, and color. Your vision is translated into spaces that are more purposeful, durable, comfortable, and imbued with the mission of your business or spirit of your life. Our aesthetics go beyond the visual to incorporate tactile pleasure, acoustic and thermal comfort. Good design is a balance of right and left brain thinking. An artist’s sensitivity, experience, and intuition provide inspired moments to express your dream and distinguishing it from the average. Color, texture, culture, context, layering, and composition are used to create buildings that delight and inspire. These concepts are applied with rational and practical organization of spaces and selection of durable, low maintenance materials resulting in spaces that endure. Sustainable design practices are standard practice at BluPath; from site strategies, sourcing renewable and local, healthy and durable products to incorporating water and energy conservation practices. We keep pace with cost-effective best practices in sustainable materials and strategies, holistically incorporating water, energy and material resource conservation. Our specialized training and experience in building science, Passive House Standard, LEED Building Design and Construction are integrated into and propel the design. BluPath provides full service architectural and interior design for your project or consulting services to architects, developers, or engineers. We apply our specialized knowledge to each project based on you and your team’s goals for the project. BluPath builds teams of experts from our network of resources appropriate to your project scale and complexity. Our cost analysis tools help relate first costs as well as the long term value of the design, allowing you to make sound decisions on how and where to invest in your project. Founded in 2003, BluPath is woman-owned and award-winning. We continue to learn and practice the techniques that will bring you value and peace of mind. We design to meet the future of a changing planet.
