About Us

Blaze Makoid has been practicing architecture and design since graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1985. Prior to establishing his own firm, he had worked for the internationally known firms of Kallmann, McKinnell & Wood and The Hillier Group where he was the Design Director for their Philadelphia office. His work has been featured in the New York Times, Architecture Magazine, Hamptons Cottages & Gardens and the Robb Report. His designs have been exhibited in New York City, Boston and Philadelphia. He has received numerous national and international design awards including The 2010 Long Island AIA Commendation for Outstanding Achievement in Residential Design, The Boston Society of Architects’ First Citation and the Philadelphia AIA Honor Award for Excellence.
