We cannot imagine what our project would have been like had we not worked with Bonin. We initially met Jeremy and Kim in early 2019. They were very flexible and accommodating as we wanted a reasonably long lead time to plan and execute the project. We formally engaged them in April 2019 and iterated on the house design and plans for the better part of two years (again at our request to move slow). It was a truly collaborative creative experience. Jude was introduced early on as the project lead and was simply terrific. The same applies to Greg for the site plan and landscape design. It’s important to note that we were not local for the first 10 months of construction. Jude was there every step of the way, iterating with us, and managing our multitude of changes both large and small. We’d never been through a custom house build and the number of details that Jude thought about and designed was astounding. From the larger details like the gable design, interior staircase and kitchen layout to the smaller details like light switch placement and door swings, Jude was meticulous in his attention to detail. Equally important was the ongoing oversight he provided during construction through regular site visits and calls. If it were not for Jude, a number of potential construction issues would not have been identified and resolved. He was a true partner and during the course of the project became a friend to us. In short, we could not have undertaken a project of this magnitude without Bonin in our corner. We’re thrilled with the house and the partnership with Bonin allowed us to get exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend Bonin Architects, and you can have confidence you will get the experience and the resulting product you want.

It's been an absolute pleasure working with Bonin Architects & Associates. Jeremy and his team gave us a vision and options when walking our lot both before & after purchase. The Q & A process for home construction was incredibly helpful to help turn our visions into reality. Services that we didn't think through, including landscape architecture, added greatly to the project. When it came time to choose a builder, the McGray & Nichols team worked hand in hand throughout the construction process with the Bonin team. Interior Design from Studio Sage completed the trifecta. They all were onsite often, offered fantastic choices, were receptive to changes, and ultimately we built our magnificent dream home together. We are thrilled to have chosen Bonin Architects for our project.

Working with Bonin was a very positive experience from start to finish! We started with a very long “wish list”and after several meetings.. we ended up with a home that has most of what we wanted and has exceeded our expectations. Chris and Jeremy were very easy to work with.. guiding and advising us the entire way. Valuable advice was dispensed all along the way.. such as.. build the house YOU want….For how you live everyday… … not for the few times a year your kids will visit..! Chris was especially valuable as he was our project manager. There was not a time when he didnt take my calls or my texts answering a million “ little” questions. He attended all our onsite construction meetings, lending his expertise to every conversation and decision.His knowledge of the industry was invaluable; providing websites and businesses that specialized in whatever it was we were looking for. He was always level headed, calm and clear while being very focused on us as clients. He made this entire process much easier and more enjoyable than we anticipated.

Working with Bonin Architects was a great experience. The firm is managed by highly competent people and the architects and designers are very talented. The firm has excellent relationships with NH area builder and sub-contractors. You will get the A-team when you work with them and their extended network of professionals. I found the contract terms, pricing and communications to be very clear and transparent. The project was executed from start to finish very smoothly and we started just before Covid lockdown! I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

Jeremy Bonin and his team are fine architects: well versed in their craft; professional, personable and just a lot of fun to work with. From our initial meeting with Jeremy and Kim, to the happy day they handed us the keys to our dream home, to the work they're continuing for us now, the BAA team has been engaged, enthusiastic, responsive, and as others here have noted, really good listeners. As newcomers to the homebuilding scene, whatever reservations we may have had going into a lengthy project were allayed at the outset when Jeremy reassured us that “If we weren’t having fun, he wouldn’t be doing his job right.” Enjoying, rather than just surviving, the project may seem like a minor part of the overall equation; but hundreds of days, thousands of miles, and a million decisions later we can attest to the fact that entrusting our project to Jeremy, Kim, their team, and the talented builders, made that not only possible but a reality. Indeed, they have been and continue to be a great pleasure to work with; and we, our families and friends are thoroughly enjoying the comfortable, beautiful, very special home they've created for us.

Bonin Architects designed an extensive and complex transformation to our lakefront home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. I have worked with several different architect firms over the past 20 years, I can definitively say Bonin Architects was the best firm I have ever worked with. The #1 reason is their listening skills and ability to translate what they hear from the clients into creative ideas for their clients. My past experiences with architect firms is they place their own likes & dis likes into the design, thus creating conflict with the client. From the 1st meeting to the move in date, Bonin Architects was there for us all along the way, hitting every deadline and giving great advice. We hired Bonin Architects to design and manage the construction of our home on Lake Sunapee, NH. What was important to us was to design a home that reflected our style but also functioned well for the family priorities most important to us. During the design stage, we were most impressed that the Bonins spent much of their time listening to us rather than trying to convince us to adopt their preferred style. Not only did they worked hard to incorporate our thoughts and desires into the plans but added many additional elements we would not have thought of that added much to the architectural impact and functionality of the project. In addition, we were interested in adopting some local historical cues to the style which they enthusiastically researched and incorporated extremely well into the design. As project manager, they were realistic and often stopped us for a reality check to assure we were on budget. The staff was efficient and consistent in answering questions and sending our monthly status reports. Their estimate of the cost and time frame were accurate allowing us to feel in control during the entire process. The quality of the work met our high standards and, to our great relief, they took care of all local and state regulatory issues and paperwork. They also provided invaluable advice and options for builders. Unlike many other projects we have heard about, our builder had no major issues with his ability to construct what the Bonin's had designed. We would not hesitate using them again or recommending them highly to others.
