Carlsen & Frank Architects LLC is a Minnesota company established in 1983 by architects Peter Carlsen, AIA and Sylvia Frank, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP. We are a full service architectural firm experienced in residential, commercial and institutional work. Working with our clients, we provide ideas and design options to explore, refine and develop in a collaborative process. Our projects develop from an understanding and appreciation their sites. They are designed to fit comfortably into their surroundings and be environmentally responsible. Our architecture serves our client’s functional needs, reflects their values, is creative, well executed and has a spirit of integrity and delight. We seek to achieve a balance between project scope and budget. A well designed and successfully executed project requires attention to detail, commitment to quality and understanding of the construction process. Our success in achieving this has been recognized in a number of design awards and in appreciative repeat clients. The partners have backgrounds in the fine arts. We have designed furniture for some of our projects.
