We have used Bill with CRB Interiors on three projects, and give him the highest recommendation possible! In our 2024 project, Bill has outdone himself in all aspects. He listened carefully to us, and was able to translate our somewhat random thoughts into a beautiful and cohesive design. We’ve had a few tough construction challenges come up, but each time Bill was able to find elegant solutions. Problems become challenges for him, and he delivers! He is responsive, creative, detail oriented, produces the highest quality output possible, and is fun and uplifting to work with. He is truly outstanding in his profession.

I’ve collaborated with Bill on several projects. Bill always brings great energy and a high level of creativity to our projects. He’s a superb communicator and has access to incredible resources that take our projects to the highest level.

Bill helped design our lower level with a great knowledge of lighting, professionalism and enthusiasm. He turned the space into a space that works for disability for my husband, for the entire family to watch football, to entertaining our friends but also my daughter’s wedding reception. He brought in the outdoors from the window treatments to the wall treatments of the cold cellar and wine cellar. I will never use anyone else but him again.

I had the pleasure of working with Bill on two ambitious residential projects: a 2,200SF mid-century single family house located in Shorewood Hills, WI and a 2,000SF mid-century condo in Palm Springs, CA. Both projects were down to the studs, gut renovations. Bill is well versed in adaptive reuse and construction documentation, and knowledgeable in construction means and methods. He is generous with his effort and uniquely qualified to express the owner’s design intent.

As an architectural photographer I've had the pleasure of photographing many projects and working with a variety of clients from sole proprietors, to luxury ski resorts. Bill was a real pleasure to collaborate with to create photographs of his recent Palm Springs project. Bill's attention to detail and vision for what he's created is top notch, and his selection of materials and color palettes really stands out to create a balanced space.

Bill is a treasure of knowledge and experience. Our first project with him was a 4700 SF house. Bill made himself readily available and stopped in on short notice to guide us with decisions made onsite. Without his assistance we would have been overwhelmed. When this house became much too large for our shrinking family, we again enlisted his help to complete our present condominium. He was able to help us identify what it was that we really wanted; and, if my husband and I differed, was able to review from both function and design perspectives to discover the best approach. We especially appreciated his ability to relate to both my husband and myself, who approach projects from different perspectives. He offered us options which allowed us to compromise, stay within our budget, yet still achieve terrific results that reflect us both. Bill has traveled extensively, which gives him the ability to think "outside the box." We tapped his resources repeatedly for tradesmen who had expertise in everything from upholstery to drywall, painting, carpentry, and so forth.

I have worked with Bill on multiple projects, large and small, commercial and residential, over the last 10 years. He is skilled and innovative in design concepts, with great breadth in styles and materials, and organizational chops to keep it all on track.. One of our early projects was renovating a house in Europe when neither of us knew the language well, and he was not on-site--only working off drawings and pictures--until after the project was completed! The success of that project speaks to his ability to understand the project and the client's goals, and visualize what the space needs. The fact that I keep going back to Bill for design work is a testament to his design abilities and his interpersonal style.
