East Mountain Design has been providing residential design services emphasizing beautiful, green, energy-efficient, and sustainable design in New Mexico since 2000. We have designed custom homes and small additions/remodels, from contemporary to traditional, from the site to the details of interior design such as cabinetry and material choices. Headed by Susan Hoffman, with a Masters in Architecture from UMd, and a BA from Yale, East Mountain Design can find exceptional results for your search for your dream home. Sue Hoffman of East Mountain Design created our dream home. Sue's architectural drawings are very detailed and beautiful. She makes maximum use of all available space, is very conscious of up to date green and sustainable practices and we recommend her services.

Sue Hoffman is a great idea and design professional. She listens well, is great on follow up and can put her skills together to produce drawings for trades people. She is calm about the unexpected and extremely resourceful in creating architectural satisfying solutions. We found her to be the key to our very successful interior remodel. We are going to do more projects with her and recommend her without reservation.

Sue was the architect/designer on our significant remodeling project. Her greatest contributions were her knowledge of material options, particularly stone and countertops, and the layout and design of the kitchen and two bathrooms. She worked very well with our contractor, Vince Dammer, with whom she has worked previously. We are delighted with the outcome.

I highly recommend Sue Hoffman. She has a great eye for architecture and the ability to carry the project through from start to finish. She has very good ideas about form as well as function. She is innovative and adaptable to changes that might have to be made during the project - from architectural plans to the building process itself. Plus that, she is a really good person who is a pleasure to work with. She helped us build one of the most premium properties in all of the East Mountains. I can't imagine anyone better at what she does.
