Epikos LLC specializes in the planning and design of luxury destination resorts and high-end residential properties. The firm emphasizes finding unique solutions that are appropriate to the surroundings and that optimize client goals and investments. The principals of Epikos have been involved in projects in over 15 countries ranging from beachfront to ski front. Epikos chooses to call McCall, Idaho home because of the quality of life and dynamic environment. Wayne Ruemmele Principal, Architect Mr. Ruemmele earned his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Utah’s Graduate School of Architecture and his career has concentrated on high-end residential and resort design projects around the world. Wayne apprenticed with noted architect Ed Dreier, working in Lake Tahoe, Park City, and Scottsdale. His study of resort areas continued while working in Lausanne Switzerland. Current projects include alpine and oceanfront resorts with Alpine Village McCall, Kapalua Mauka Maui, Grand Payette Hotel and Hopkins Harbor Belize. Currently under construction or recently completed projects include Blackhawk On The River’s Riverlodge and model homes, the Chalets and Cottages at Tamarack Resort, The Crossing Beach Club in Sandpoint, and private residences in McCall and Mexico. Past projects include the Sonnenalp Hotel and private homes in Vail, Aspen, Antigua, and St. Croix. Wayne recently became a LEED Accredited Professional to further his interest in sustainable architecture. His designs respond to site conditions, respect local materials and culture, and create elegant solutions to design challenges. David Peugh Principal, Land Planner Mr. Peugh is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and winner of the prestigious Barlow Design Award. His broad 30 year work history ranges from macro studies of thousands of acres to site-specific designs for mixed-use projects, private residences and resorts in more than a dozen countries. Current local projects include Alpine Village, Blackhawk On The River, The Glen, and Whitetail A Club For All Seasons. Other current projects include Kapalua, on the island of Maui, Hawaii, Hopkins Bay Resort in Belize, Bear Valley in California, North Shore Ranch in Montana, and Grace Bay Club in The Turks and Caicos Islands. As lead planner for the new Tamarack Resort, Dave moved his family to McCall in 1991 from Park City, Utah.
