About Us

Making our clients' dreams come true is our mission. Located in Pearland, Texas, Espinal Architects, LLC specializes in residential and commercial architecture in the greater Houston area. From custom residences to new commercial spaces, our goal is to exceed our clients' expectations. We establish the style, look, and feel you want, and accurately convey them into a practical, efficient, and beautiful space. Alvaro Espinal has been a licensed architect in the State of Texas since 2005. Originally from the Chicago area, Al relocated to Houston in 1998, and received a Master of Architecture degree from Texas A&M University in 2000. Having resided in Oak Park, Illinois, surrounded by the great architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, and having lived in a classic Chicago-style bungalow, Al fell in love with residences that possess character and soul. He decided early on in his studies to one day establish an architecture practice with a focus on design that moves the spirit.

Creative. Talented. Honest. Flexible. Collaborative. These are all words that come to mind when I think of Espinal Architects. You can tell upon meeting Al, he leverages many years of diverse experience. He has ideas to offer but also listens to customer needs very well. The final product is well thought out and detailed allowing the execution of the project to run smoothly. In addition, excellent with turnaround time and fairly priced. I would recommend without hesitation for your next custom project!

Al Espinal of Espinal Architects did a great job designing a garage and garage apartment, plus a master suite addition on the back of our home. Al was patient and listened carefully to what we wished for, and was up front and honest to let us know that our original idea would not work. Al came up with an alternate design instead which works great with our lot. The services were very affordable, and worked well, and below our budget. If we had any questions, or changes, Al was always available and changes were made as requested and promptly. We HIGHLY recommend Espinal Architects.

The greatest thing that we found with Al is that he is very detail oriented. He really cares that every person and every party involved is going to deliver the same level of quality that he holds himself to. Al made sure that he took extra time and communicated with us on a weekly basis to make sure thing were just right. He wants us to enjoy every aspect with our house. Al really helped us to understand that our house will be functional and our need would be met. He designed a great house for us and we are so excited.

From the moment we met Al, to the completion of our home, he was a true professional to work with. We brought him a sketch on a piece of paper, and he brought our dream home to life. He listened to our wants, needs, and desires, and transformed them into a beautiful home. Besides being an incredible listener to our needs, he was able to take it a step beyond, and create a home more spectacular than our original vision. Our builder, having built custom homes for years, in both Houston, and Austin, was extremely impressed with Al's level of detail. Having both a Engineering degree and a Architectural degree, gives him a leg up on the competition. We would HIGHLY recommend Al to anyone building a custom home.
