There are two sides to ever story, after meeting personally with both clients on 4 occasions, countless correspondence, we have, in writing "Looks Great", "how soon can we have the final drawings to give to our contractor?" We completely redesigned the interior of this home, removed walls, new kitchen, dining, office, walk in pantry, entry, built ins, electrical, lighting, appliance schedule, cabinet elevations. We were also asked to
revise areas in other parts of the house which were outside our scope, yet when we did
the work, client refused payment and said "take it off the drawings, we won't pay you for that" ? Additionally, once the entire set of drawings were completed, the client said they now want to start changing the layout and relocate the appliances (which we worked on for 6 weeks and have their written approval? Since we included all the cabinet drawings, this would mean additional work. The client refused. She has never built anything in her life prior, yet insisted we new nothing of the process? We invited the client to personally see 4 built projects to help them understand, yet they refused to come and look. The client received a full set of working drawings, standard for the industry, for the designs which were approved by them. In 28 years, we have never had a client so ignorant to the process, that would not even leave their small world to come and educate themselves to our capabilities. When a client cannot understand any of the drawings, says "Looks Great", then wants you to start over, yet is not willing to pay for their new wishes, it is time to call it a day! Please look at our other reviews and work, it will tell a story much different than hers. I challenge her to provide any and all back up of her false misrepresentation of our office.
