Gillian brings immense expertise not just as an interior designer but also as an artist. She has been masterful at choosing color schemes and design options based on my preferences and budget. She has helped me with everything from room design to remodeling our bathrooms. As a long time resident of Victoria, she has numerous resources for quality workmanship and products from companies you can trust. I really can‘t say enough about Ley Art and Interiors. Gillian briought her creativity and a professional approach to our project. What really made it special is that she wanted our home to reflect us and our tastes, not just hers. She was also thoughtful and considerate about our budget. We couldn't be happier with how our major renovation turned out. We often ask "What would Gillian think?" and if it's a big decision we've learned to hire her so we have the answer. In the end it saves us time and money.

My husband and I acted as general contractors on the recent renovation of our "new" home. Gillian provided us with confidence in our choices and the direction that helped us to maintain our focus. She has a large pool of contacts and her referrals to various product sources made shopping less daunting than it would have been otherwise. She has a tremendous sense of colour and we trust her judgment implicitly when choosing colours. She observes, she listens, she is very professional, and she likes to share a laugh. It's obvious she loves what she does and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

We hired Gillian to help us in planning the updating and redecorating of our 1947 home in Oak Bay. Gillian's creative ideas for design, spatial arrangements and selection of colour exceeded our expectations. She is well connected in our community with excellent knowledge of trades people. Throughout the entire project Gillian was attentive to every request we made and we are thrilled with the results. We continue to receive comments on paint and tile colour, on our choice of window coverings and every detail of our lovely bathrooms and kitchen. We continue to recommend her to friends and neighbours.

Gillian is professional, knowledgable, and thinks "out of the box" in terms of design. Gillian Ley has consulted with us on four large projects; 2 of our homes that we built and renovation of my husband's dental clinic, and design of his other new dental clinic. In all cases, Gillian was wonderful to work with as she is patient, well informed and has a wonderful sense of proportion and colour. She is very good at listening to your ideas and making them work (or gently dissuade you). She is flexible, reasonable and practical. She has our highest recommendation and we will hire her again.

Gillian helped me to redecorate my condominium. I am thrilled with the results as well as the fact that she was able to work within my budget (which was not very large). She did a wonderful job of getting a sense of my current decor and my style. She was then able to help me transform my home while working with most of my existing belongings.
