About Us

I really enjoy working with difficult building sites. I try to use ground slopes or edges of water to create boldness in the design. As Principal Architect, I have over 30 years of experience in many types of building, but I love nothing more than a custom house on a difficult site. I am a member of the American Institute of Architects and a LEED Accredited Professional. Even if you do not wish to achieve LEED status I will always keep their goals in mind while designing. This is much more than "environmentally friendly" design. It is a "people friendly" design philosophy. It looks to the health of the occupants through indoor air quality, reduced levels of toxins and molds through material selections and weather proofing details, and natural day lighting where possible, which not only saves energy, but increases the quality of life within a home.
