Tony Gray and Guthmann Construction were wonderful to work with. I was very impressed with the quality of work, how they stuck to their deadlines, the professionalism of the staff and their cleanliness. From start to finish, there were no big surprises and they worked with me on specific requests that I had along the way. I loved that they had great ideas that incorporated with what I was looking for in my new kitchen. The project took 7 weeks and came in right at budget.

My wife and I spoke with a number of draftsmen and architects about our project but one particular issue with our staircase had them all stumped on how to proceed. When we met with Tony Gray for the first time he looked at the issue quizzically as others did but he clearly wanted to take it on as a personal challenge to overcome. For that reason we wound up hiring Tony to fix that issue and also pull together plans that would take our house with three obvious building phases and combine them to look line a single, intentional home with great flow and functionality. Tony's vision was spot on and we wound up expanding our project thanks to his creativity and foresight. Most importantly, he listened to our thinking, wants and needs along the way and worked those into his proposals and written plans. We now have a great footprint that is very usable and attractive; a friend of a prior family that lived in our house saw the work and asked, "Why didn't (that family) do this when they went through renovations 15 years ago? It's perfect!". We suspect/know it is because Tony wasn't their architect.

Tony Gray is a fabulous architect! He is thorough and has great vision. He worked with us to create a gorgeous new master bath that increased the original footprint and made the best use of our upstairs space by expanding the size and scope. What was once a one sink, one toilet, small shower space is now a double sink, one toilet, walk in rain shower and separate soaking tub all in marble. The space is maximized by his excellent architectural expertise. Tony is personable and really wants to work with the homeowner to create an ideal space for them. He is highly responsive and it was a true pleasure to have him create a master bath that really increased the value of our home. Two years later I still walk in the bathroom and feel like I'm on vacation! We would highly recommend him!

We had a fantastic, A+ experience working with Tony Gray and highly recommend his company, Graydesign Architecture, PA, for any/all your home remodeling needs. We worked with Tony/Graydesign Architecture on two (2) home remodeling projects in 2013: 1) Master bath remodel, and 2) Sunporch/Sundeck new addition. On a personal level, Tony is reliable, on-time, creative and honest. He was nothing but professional and very easy to work with. He is, in short, the consummate professional. With respect to his architectural work, he is superb – his lengthy experience showed in his drawings. The master bath remodel was not an easy project. We essentially showed him our bathroom, told him we wanted it remodeled and then asked him to draw something up–without many ideas or thoughts from us. We were stumped by the space... that's why we went to Tony to begin with. Long story short, we were blown away by what he came up with. (his drawings for the new addition Sunporch project were equally impressive). Again, we highly recommend Graydesign Architecture, PA for any and all home remodeling projects you may have. We'll use Graydesign–and only Graydesign–for any of our future home projects.

When planning to remodel our kitchen, we debated the options of working only with a general contractor, or bringing in an architect to supervise the design. In retrospect, we are glad that we chose to use an architect and especially pleased that we we chose Tony Gray. We gutted our kitchen and started from bare walls,, so Tony's guidance in creating a design was especially valuable. Once construction began he continued to work with us to deal with unexpected surprises along the way. Hiring Tony was some of the best money we have ever spent. I would encourage anyone considering a remodeling job to interview Tony.

We have worked with Tony on several projects and he has displayed the highest level of professionalism and integrity on all our jobs. His attention to detail is great and he always has the client's happiness in mind when planning and executing a job. We love to work with him!

We hired Tony Gray to design a major addition to our home including kitchen, master bath and bedroom, laundry room family room and another full bath. We had worked with another architect prior to Tony but we did not seem to be connecting on a vision. Tony listened and seemed to understand what we were wanting almost immediately. We are so happy with our new space and largely this is due to the attention and skill that Tony brought to our project. We would very highly recommend.

Tony helped make our whole kitchen/den/bar remodel experience a wonderful one. His talent and experience proved to be so worthwhile to us. He was always easy to communicate with and very willing to try any new ideas that came up late in the design. We would use him again, either as a consultant for a small job, or for his architectural design work in a major building project. He always had our best interests at heart, and seemed to make all the hardships, problems, and issues go away! We wish him nothing but continued success in his career, and would not hesitate for a moment to reccomend him to another prospective client. PS: Did I mention that he also is a truely nice guy ?!!!

Having a detached garage was a dream for my family - we wanted a space large enough for the car, tool bench, storage, etc., but also hoped it could include office space extra space for large lawn equipment and gardening supplies. The steep slope in my backyard had always been my least favorite feature of my home. Tony's creativity and intuition used this challenge to our benefit. He designed a two car garage, home office and lower level basement that exceeded our expectations. We were very impressed with his ability to design each separate space within the project perfectly. Tony was a pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needs designs. His innovative use of space and professional demeanor made our garage project an exciting endeavor. His plans came to life beautifully, and we could not be more pleased with the results.

Our family has used Graydesign services for 3 major renovation projects and one new home design. Tony Gray is such a good listener with our ideas and thoughts and somehow gets them translated into architectural plans.
