We recently completed a home addition project to our home in Lehi. I am delighted with my experience and outcome working with Habitations Residential Design Group! If you are considering using them, you should! We worked with Joe and Stuart who were both great at communicating and listening to our needs. We met in person once and did most everything else virtually which was seamless. Stuart found out what was important to us in our project, incorporated that and also brought great ideas to the table. My favorite addition he added was a hidden pantry door in the kitchen - seriously, I love it! He also added a few other features that I didn't even realize until we were in construction. One of those was the corner windows were put flush with the counter. I had never seen that before and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. We also got other quotes from other firms, and I felt Habitations pricing was very fair.

We are 6 months into construction and I am realizing more each day how important it is to choose the right architect up front. We love our home, we love the design, we have noticed how many details were accounted for and incorporated into our home by Habitations. Habitations has made changes for us, updated plans and made great recommendations for different subs and suppliers. Joe Sadler is the person you want to work with, his communication is top notch, he honestly cares about you and your home. We described the home we want and Stuart put it on paper, gave us great advice and added several great features. I will use Habitations again and would recommend them to family and friends.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Habitations on designing a home in a style way out of our usual comfort zone. Joe and Stuart took our ideas, along with photos and a list of requirements and produced an amazing plan. Downsizing is never easy, but the house we are building is breathtaking thanks to these talented men. This will be the house I will never want to leave. What a fantastic experience! After deciding to build a house in Red Ledges we found Habitations through the Park City Showcase of Homes. Joe Sadler walked over the lot we had purchased and immediately knew how to situate the house to maximize the lot's attributes (the views and privacy) and minimize its disadvantages (the grade, driveway placement etc.). We sat down with him in the Red Ledges club house and there and then he sketched out a rough design which turned out to be the basis of our future home. We discussed our ideas and budget and he asked us for our wish list - to our amazement the Habitations team was able to include ALL of those items while remaining within budget. They had clearly LISTENED to us. Their fees were surprisingly moderate and we felt we got excellent value for money. At this time we were living 2,000 miles away in Virginia. We met with Joe, Stuart and Zach a few times whenever we visited Utah, but most of the design tweaks were completed quickly and seamlessly via email. They designed a beautiful house for us, incorporating our own ideas and in some areas making suggestions which we hadn't even thought of; we can't wait for the builder to finish it so we can move in later this year. I can honestly say that Joe, Stuart and Zach were a joy to work with. They were always very responsive to emails and the occasional phone call, and even with a two hour time difference they usually got back to us the same day with an answer or even a set of updated plans. Not only are they thoroughly professional, but they’re all really nice guys. Our builder also enjoys working with them and says that they produce clear plans, are very easy to coordinate with and are readily available to answer questions or handle occasional changes. Should we ever decide to build another home we would choose Habitations for the design in a heartbeat. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who's considering designing a home.

Stuart, Joe, and Alysha designed our unique home. We started with our vision, some photos, and discussion. They understood the look we wanted. Throughout the process they were in communication with us. Together we were able to take inspiration from a photograph and create our own replica of a restored barn. Habitations has been genuinely invested in the authenticity of the construction. We greatly appreciate their support and efforts toward the completion of our home.

Habitations Residential Design Group has designed multiple homes that have featured our rustic/reclaimed wood siding products. They along with their building partners fuse beautiful architectural elements that make the homes they design (and the exterior wood that is used) look incredible and distinct in mountain areas.

Habitations provided a design to update the look of the exterior of our house in the Park Meadows neighborhood in Park City Utah. The updated look included new square timbers to replace round ones, new window surrounds, new wainscoting stone, and new siding and facia paint colors. I would recommend Habitations to everyone! The whole process of working with them went smooth. I worked mainly with Joe and Stuart and was very impressed with their attentiveness to my desires. At the time that we started designing our home I lived in a different part of the state (five hours away) and it was never a problem. Our house is close to being finished and I have stayed in contact with them through the whole process because I trust their advice and opinions so much. Habitations designed our house and barn, final, retirement build in Midway, UT (we "hired" them through our builder). We worked with Stuart, Joe, and Todd, and they were meticulous with incorporating details we wanted, patient with iterations of fine tuning the design, and very helpful with input/suggestions to create the mountain valley rambling farmhouse we desired. We are thrilled with the end product. Just broke ground summer, 2016, so no pictures yet, will post next year final product!
