I would give Eric MacInerney more stars if they were available. I could not have asked for a more professional, creative, devoted, architect to assist us with our project. He met with me over and over before we started our project to make sure that we were making the best use of our potential new space. He was a perfectionist and took the time to make what we were talking about into a 3D computer program so that I could actually see what our house would look like. I could not get my brain around the 2D drawings. He frequently visited our project during the construction to make sure that things were going as he had envisioned. He was an advocate for me to stick with the things that I had originally wanted out of the space even when we weren't sure the space would accommodate it. He made it work to where we got exactly what we wanted. He also analyzed where we spent most of our time and which spaces should be changed to better accommodate our family and how we wanted to live. He talked through with me certain ideas that I had to see if they would actually turn out to be useful space and worth the cost. He truly cared that our project turned out to be good quality and beautiful. Finally, we had an unexpected development at the end of our project that required some very quick creativity. As usual, he responded with the perfect solution and was calm and cool through the entire thing. Eric is a great architect and has become a wonderful friend. If I ever remodeled again or built another home anywhere, I would, hands down, use Eric. I recommend him to everyone who asks me.

Highly skilled architects who are equally skilled at listening to a client's needs and preferences, then quickly responding with a very exciting design. (They were also very quick to respond to any subsequent tweaks and changes). Their team of architects work not only well together, but are a lot of fun to work with as a client as well. We have a contemporary, Texas farmhouse-style home that has all the elements we wanted with some extremely attractive and efficient details. Our house is not a large one, by choice, but every time I walk through the doorway, it takes my breath away. The design is fresh and timeless. Hire Heimsath architects and have fun!

Eric MacInerney, with Heimsath Architects, first hired me as an interior designer for his personal home, but since then we have worked together on several projects. He has been a pleasure to work with! He is personally involved, insightful and thoughtful to detail, and approaches each project as if it were his own home. The fact that he invites collaboration with the builder and the designer is refreshing and beneficial in the long run to his clients and the overall success of each project. I highly recommend Heimsath Architects for someone who wants a carefully crafted home and an overall positive experience!

Eric MacInerney and the team at Heimsath Architects were great to work with. I appreciate the personal care they give to projects/clients, and their willingness to get contractor input before finalizing design. Their attention to detail, ability to manage the Interior Design team, and overall project organization were excellent. I would highly recommend them.

Commented: Which furniture company made the dining room table and chairs?Actually the dining room table and wood chairs are cherry and came from an amish furniture provider. The living room end tables and coffee table were sourced from local second-hand furniture vendors.

Commented: Where can I find sliders like these?I believe the doors were built semi-custom -- a modification of an typical door, it should not be too terribly hard to find a manufacturer to do this. It is also possible to get a cabinet/millwork pe...
