As a high end interior designer I've had the honor to collaborate with Leigha on several projects including one our most popular projects in Mill Valley where she did the Architecture and we did the Interiors. It has regularly been one of Houzz's most popular projects for almost 10 years now!! We had a wonderful experience with Leigha Heydt. Leigha is conscientious, hard-working, and is dedicated to going above and beyond for her clients. She listened intently to what we wanted in our remodel, which consisted of 2 baths, a master bath, and a kitchen, and designed incredibly beautiful spaces for us. Not only is she a talented architect, but Leigha has a great eye for interior decor as well. She even helped select gorgeous interior fixtures and tiles that blended seamlessly with the style of our home. In addition to designing spaces we loved, she worked very well with our experienced contractor and, because of her own background as a contractor, knew the right questions to ask. The crew even commented on how easy she was to work with and how detailed-oriented and organized she was. You often hear comments on how stressful remodels are but we can honestly say that working with Leigha was a smooth and low stress experience. We are so thankful we chose Leigha Heydt as our architect and couldn't recommend her more highly!

Hiring Leigha was the best decision we made for our remodel. Her sense of style impressed us immediately and her background as a contractor separated her from other designers we considered. From the outset, she spent time getting to know our vision, understanding our style, and addressing our needs. Leigha was patient and always available to answer our many questions throughout the process. She narrowed down the many choices involved in a remodel, saving us time and money, with recommendations that were creative, detailed, and practical. We had a concept for our remodel, but Leigha transformed it into reality. We highly recommend her!

We hired Leigha to help with a kitchen/family room, office, laundry room and bath remodel. Leigha was able to Leigha was able to understand and design our vision of the space better than we could have imagined. Remarkably, she generates incredible designs very efficiently. I think it's because she really listens to what her clients are saying. On one decision she really pushed us to go a step further than we had planned and to install a different window where a seemingly suitable window already existed. Following her advice transformed the space beautifully in a way we couldn't have imagined. If she pushes for something, trust her. Her design judgement is impeccable.

Leigha is a great find! She helped me re-do our entire home a few years back. More recently she helped me pick fixtures, paint colors and furniture. Leigha is able to quickly figure out what you want and gives ideas that work within your style and budget. She is flexible and easy to work with. She is an expert at picking paint colors. I would reccomend her in a heart beat!!

As a first time home owner, we've relied on Leigha for her insights on numerous occasions. She's done a tremendous job drafting architectural plans of our house to discuss our remodel ideas with city hall. She's also helped with picking colors for exterior paint as well as general advise on lighting, flooring, and reference to professionals and places on where to buy quality products. She's an experienced resource with a wide variety of skills, great taste, and a professionalism that makes working with her a pleasure. I'm so glad to have found her and to know I have somebody I can go to with almost anything I need help with for our various house projects.

We hired Leigha from Heydt Designs for our kitchen remodel and couldn't be happier with the results. Our original kitchen was cramped, dark and not very functional. We now have 3 large picture windows, an open layout and a huge island that is perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is the same square footage but everyone thinks we added more. Leigha was extremely professional, always on time, provided extensive details in her CAD drawings and went above and beyond throughout the entire process. She flawlessly coordinated the permit process, engineers and contractors - all went extremely smoothly. We had a hard time finding the right high gloss white cabinets and she even found them for us. She's got a great eye for design and is always helpful with design advice. She's smart, thorough, responsive, has a contractor background and is overall just great to work with. Leigha Heydt was our second architect hired for our project. The first didn't work out due to lack of understanding each others goals and budget. Leigha was a breath of fresh air in every way. She took out the intimidation factor in our first remodel experience. We immediately loved her straight forward honest approach and her knowledge of building a home (she has contractor experience). She was quick at assesing our needs and got straight to work on our plans. The plans were extremely professional with meticulous details that made every process after (finding contractors, engineers, etc and getting town approval) a breeze. Leigha understood us and always steered us in a realistic direction to keep to our goal. She has a very keen eye for use of space and pleasing design... that is timeless and functional. I can not say enough about Leigha, she is very talented, a great architect. Our entire house was dated with a small, closed in kitchen and no master bedroom. Our house is absolutely fantastic now with an open big kitchen, amazing master suite and a beautiful flow throughout. We chose a more modern style that is very family friendly. Leigha was right there with every resource - websites, places to find every last detail needed in our home. Again, I can't say enough- she's an amazing architect and communicator, she's thorough, always on time, wealth of resources and the calm in what could be an overwhelming experience. She's the best!
