My husband and I went back and forth on how much value we'd get hiring a designer to help us. After seeing Joseph's work at parade of homes and on his website we decided that the time we'd save and the headache of all the fine details was worth the cost. We took the plunge and after getting a quote from Joseph we were pleasantly surprised how affordable he was. We felt his prices were very fair for what we got in return. I had every confidence in Joseph, as I'd compared his work to many MANY other designers, so committing upfront was not difficult. However when we got the renderings back we were TOTALLY and completely blown out of the water!! I mean spectacular. I feel like I have a good eye and considered many times designing our remodel myself, but after getting the renderings back I turned to my husband and said "I would NEVER have come up with those ideas no matter how much time I spent!" It's all in the beautiful details with Joseph he has such incredible vision to maximize every square inch and pull everything together to create a masterpiece in each space no matter how big or small. We are beyond excited to start remodeling one room at a time now. Having the masterplan and knowing the end result takes all the second guessing out of every little detail and is going to save us months, possibly years of back and forth second guessing ourselves. Worth every single penny to avoid all those sleepless nights! We are SO HAPPY we chose him. Joseph we love you!!!

Joseph is a professional who was open to our ideas yet he implemented a better composite of our ideas than we could have envisioned. Joseph was timely and efficient, yet detail-oriented and design-focused. We would work with him again, except he probably designed our forever home.

As first-time home builders, Joseph Ward with HOMEWARDesign really helped us stay focused on the purpose and functionality of each area in our home, while making the overall design and presentation aesthetically pleasing. The initial in-person "questionnaire" consultation we went through with Joseph was very helpful and a great way to really figure out what we wanted and, most importantly, what we needed in our new home. Our home isn't actually completed yet, but all of the contractors and sub-contractors we have worked with so far have been pleased with Joseph's plans/drawings. And as we are going through this process, I have also been very impressed with and appreciative of Joseph, how he continues to be available and willing to help when different questions come up. Lastly, I believe that Joseph has a very good "eye" for design and architecture. Not only do I feel really good about our upcoming new home, but I have seen another home designed by Joseph and it was beautiful! By taking the time to understand our "vision" and by encouraging us to avoid the "trends of the day", he has helped us design a home that will be timeless and classic.

We love the work HOMEWARDesign did in our custom home. We love how functional the layout is, and how much open space and storage we have. With a mix on a farmhouse yet modern style, each detail works so well together. Each room has unique qualities about it that we love, and no details were overlooked.

I worked with Joseph as a house designer and thoroughly enjoyed it! He was very respectful and listened to what I wanted in a house. We had a great consultation and then he went to his drawing board to design our house. A week later, he came back with the design that was perfect for our needs. After getting a couple referrals for designers, we met with Joseph and one other person. We were very impressed with Joseph's ideas and vision for our home, so we decided to use him as our designer. We wanted to add a large garage to our existing house, along with approximately 1,400 square feet of new space (kitchen, master suite, laundry room, office). We had ideas in our head as to what we wanted and Joseph ran with our ideas, showed us how the plans would look, and we realized we needed change things or our would not have good curb appeal. We used his vision to design an incredible remodel that really met our desires. Joseph drew up the plans and we took them to an architect - who was able to draw the plans according to Josephs plans without any issues. Later we had Joseph do renderings of parts of the house in 3D, which were amazing. I would strongly recommend Joseph to anyone undertaking a remodel or building - even if you think you know what you want, his experience and vision will help you with your design and make recommendations if you want to hear other ideas.
