Hufft is a diverse design collective with a passion for quality craftsmanship and a keen interest in the developing role of the designer in the modern world. Our studio is comprised of architects, artists, designers and craftsmen, whose varied mix of experience, backgrounds and areas of expertise help to define Hufft's uniquely holistic approach to design. Our formula is simple- we listen to the needs of our clients, and apply extraordinary amounts of experience, craft and technical innovation to create beautiful, thought-provoking design. We view every project and program as a new challenge, so while our basic formula stays the same, our design process is fluid and ever-changing. The goal of our interdisciplinary approach is to bridge the gap between trades and technology to create beautiful and enduring designs.

We created our dream home, The Porch House, with the thought provoking ideas of Matthew Hufft. Without question, Hufft Projects is the most complete design firm in Kansas City. I hired Hufft Projects to design our boutique rowing studio back in October of 2013 because we wanted to bring a new perspective on what fitness could be and what it should look and feel like. I worked with Chris at Hufft Projects to create a custom handrail in Topeka. I showed him my ideas for an industrial feeling rail that incorporates walnut details and iron railings. The Hufft team made it come to life beautifully. The installation was hampered by snow storms and bad weather, but they got it installed perfectly. I highly recommend Hufft Projects for you next project.
