Ian was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with! We made several changes and he helped us along the way.

Ian is a remarkable talent. As a general contractor I rely on my draftsman to interpret my concept sketches, assure structural integrity, be code compliant, and offer creative modification's... Ian never let's me down. Although always very busy with multiple clients, Ian always makes time to provide timely service. Ian has provided drawings for literally dozens and dozens of homes, and to date I have never had a design or structural compliant. I look forward to a long continued relationship.

Ian has been a valuable partner for many years. With the right combination of creativity and experience, Ian creates floor plans that both capture clients' artistic inspiration and function practically for the way families live.

We have worked with Ian on several projects. He is very easy to work with, always ready with constructive ideas. His knowledge is extensive in design and he puts that knowledge to good use. We, as a company, have asked him for his input on what we want to do, as far as design goes, he usually gives us more than one option that would work. Because of Ian's workload, we have to make sure we allow enough time for him to do our work. Tho', Ian is honest about the amount of time he will require for a project. That's just one part of the building process. Ian is a very important link in the chain.

When my wife and I first met to discuss a home design, we provided a series of random pictures taken from other existing designs, Pinterest ideas, and some hand-drawn visions of what layout we would like. Ian was able to take the miscellaneous set of ideas and collaborate them into a great design with a nice and logical flow through the house. Throughout the bid and approval process, Ian was always able to make minor adjustments that were requested, and return the new draft in a short amount of time. Since the home has been constructed, we have received many compliments on our use of space, open feel, and unique design.

Ian does a great job designing houses. He is so accurate with dimensions our truss designers absolutely enjoy working with his plans. There are rarley any questions, so this means we (as a truss manufacturer) are more efficient is our jobs. Recently we had a truss order for Applestone-Ballheim residence, Ian's plans were so accurate we were able to design the trusses with in a few hours of receiving his plan. Trusses made it to the jobsite in a timely fashion and the builder was happy.

Ian has been doing a fantastic job drawing plans for our company. Since we build extremely large, custom, detailed homes and no two are alike we keep him very busy and he gets the job done.

As a truss company it is a must that the plans we receive a accurate, we get that with Ian. If there are any questions, they are answered in a timely manner and put us on the right path for a successful project.

I am a roof truss designer with 12 years of experience. I have worked with Ian Schroeder numerous time on many different houses in the Quad Cities over the past several years. My job as a truss designer is to provide a roof package that is built per the set of plans provided from the house/building designer. If those plans aren't accurate or if they are difficult to interpret, I could make a mistake on my end that can cost time and money to everyone involved in the project, sometimes even the home owner. That being said, it is my professional opinion that Ian Schroeder provides some of the most detailed and accurate plans I have ever seen.
