J. Visser Design is an award winning residential design firm that believes well designed houses will enhance the quality of life for the people that live in them. There are infinite ways to arrange rooms to create a house. It is the site, client's wishes, and budget that give direction to what is the appropriate design. A well designed house has a sense of order, and this order carries throughout the building down to the smallest detail. Details, craftsmanship, and basic good taste are the characteristics of houses that delight and endure. They look better with age; they grow more loved as the years go by. I have zero hesitation in referring my clients to this amazing firm because they listen intently to clients needs and wants, and they are completely adept at bridging styles from modern to traditional, and everything in between. Last year we went through a complete "down to the studs" remodel of our home on Lake Michigan and choose J Visser Design to design the new home. We were and continue to be extremely happy with our home. They are excellent listeners and because of this we only made a couple of changes on the first design! They came up with ideas we had not thought about and many of those ideas are what is making our home so great to live in. I would strongly recommend using J Visser Design for any home remodel or build.

Visser and his team provided our client with a beautiful design that fit perfectly on their heavily wooded & landscaped lot. I have provided kitchen and bath projects on many J Visser Designs projects over the years. Their designs and floor plans make my job easy. They are fantastic and providing spaces that work for great kitchens. They are always considerate of ample space for walkways and appliances. Jeff Visser is an extremely skilled and talented residential designer. He has an amazing eye for detail, scale, and proportion. His home flow well and have tremendous character and charm. I think that anyone that meets him and see's his work, will understand why he is one of the top designers in West Michigan and will want to work with him. I highly recommend J.
